I always buy this paper when it is on sale whether we need it or not. I just stockpile it because it works perfectly in all of my office machines. Our desktop printers are 20 year old HP lasers and we very seldom have a paper jam. We also have a 4 year old Kyocera (it's nickname is "Monster") that does everything. it holds six reams of 8 1/2 x 11 paper in one cassette. We very seldom have paper jams in it. The paper is a nice white so we use it to print letterhead and internal presentations. I highly recommend it to any one looking for a good inexpensive paper.
We like the smaller size case to buy for the library due to storage space. This paper always gives us great copies and prints. We have gotten no complaints about the paper from our patrons. We have tried other paper and we come back to Staples paper.
I am comparing this paper to a premium Multipurpose Versatile paper from staples that I have use for the past 10 years or more. For everyday copying it works great and was a good price. If you print on both sides of the paper it is a bit thin and you can see the dark writing on the second side from the first. I guess it depends on how dark you print on both sides. The test was done copying black ink that was dark to start with. I did not adjust the setting just pressed copy. Reading it with out light behind the paper it was ok. I can see the writing from the other side but it is not disruptive enough to prevent legibility. But if you have light behind the paper then it is not readable with out discomfort. I would buy again for my everyday use.
