I needed copy paper just a team. All individual reams stapled had was "color" so I had to purchase it. I only used for black and white copying and it was OK. Not sure why it was labeled "color copies"

Unless you have a law firm or work in a legal office the 500 sheets/ream is not for everyone. Sadly that was the only choice in the store. From the 500 sheets of paper probably I'll use 5 or 6 sheets for a legal document that I need to print. The remaining 495 sheets will be collecting dust for years to come. A 25 sheets/ream could be a better choice for my needs.
