It’s a great watch for beginners

I love my watch as beginner/intermediate fitness enthusiast. I can track my running, walking, biking, HIIT on this. I have ditched Apple Watch since I start using this. It’s has good battery life 5-7 days. Looks amazing and is lighter than the other watches I have used before.

After more than 10 years with the 630, it finally stopped working. What a shame! It was my great companion. It had everything I wanted plus way more features that I did not need nor use. I bought the 55 out of necessity so I was surprised it was not touchscreen. I am still getting used to the buttons. We shall see.

I love my new 55 it works fantastic, got a lot to learn with it, and it works well with the app. My only complaint is that I wish it had a backlight, it makes it very difficult to see anything.

My Forerunner 35 broke and I was told this was similar watch. I don't need alot of features, but the first problem was no matter how bright I made the watch face to read it was not bright enough. The 5 buttons were to much for me. I am a huge Garmin fan and will try another watch in the future.

I’m a sophomore now, and this watch STILL works! And really well too! It’s simple, not too complex, and does the job perfectly. Couldn’t and wouldn’t buy another watch.

Very flexible. Good value.
Not very bright so difficult to view outdoors.
I hoped for the ability to view Time, Seconds, Elevation, Ambient Temperation, & Battery Status on one screen but I haven’t been able to find a face that can do that.
Great for a runner, not as good for a hiker or hunter.
