The Whirlpool Gold? 30-inch Self-Cleaning Double Oven Freestanding Electric Range is a great addition to our kitchen. Being a family on the go, the quick heat up feature saves time. We have two teenage girls who like to have parties. The double oven allows us to cook multiple items at different temperature levels and have all the food ready at once. We are looking forward to using this oven for baking holiday cookies. It will enable us to bake the cookies quicker and have more time for decorating them. There are so many fabulous features to this oven. The warming burner and the warming feature in the oven is beneficial for cooking multiple items. While the oven has many features, they are all simple to use and enhance the cooking experience while cutting down on time in the kitchen. I highly recommend this product. In addition to this oven, we have purchased the Whirlpool matching microwave, dishwasher, and refrigerator. All work with ease and make cooking fun and easy.

Love My Double Oven

This is a great oven. Both ovens preheat quickly and cook evenly.The eyes heat quickly and I really like the eye thatYou can adjust the heated surface for a small or large pot.I had wanted a double oven for a long time and it wasWorth the wait. Best purchase I've made in a long time.

I would highly recommend this range. I could not be happier. The one and only thing I have found that I wish were different is that when the large oven is on you cannot toast in the small oven...however that is not a deal changer for me. I would purchase it again!

Double oven

I had a Whirlpool Gold Double oven in my other house and when I moved I couldn't fit into the new house the unit so I had to purchase a range and I found this oven that had the double oven with it. This range has worked out well considering I had to adjust to the smaller top oven when cooking but overall for the price and what you are getting it is great. The only problem I had in the beginning that I noticed was the oven was heating my food up quickly so I had to reduce the time on my meals or I would burn them.Overall I would highly recommend this oven for someone that loves the double oven with a range and doesn't have space in their kitchen for a true double oven.

Great Oven!

Having two ovens is extremely helpful in cooking for two or cooking for a large dinner party. The thought that energy might be saved using the smaller, quicker heating oven is nice too. The height of the racks are convenient and the accuracy of the cooking temperatures is very helpful. The black cook top is a little more maintenance to keep clean, but it is not impossible and when clean looks very nice.

This range met all my expectations. I particularly enjoy using the smaller of the two ovens. I live alone and do a lot of small items, cooking for one. The cooktop performs remarkably well. I would highly recommend this stove.

The only negative is the flat glass top after reading all instructions and letting it cool before cleaning it still leaves marks that don't go away even useing the cleaner that is recommeneded.. I would think it would not be so sensitive. Other than that I love it.

Very good, but could be better

We loved our Maytag double oven freestanding range, and recently bought the Whirlpool after we moved. The Whirlpool is not quite as nice. When heating and cooling we hear a fairly loud noise due to expansion and contraction of something inside the oven. While we love the toast feature, it was nicer with the Maytag to have the timer counting down so you know when it is almost done. Overall, we are still happy with the range, but they just don't seem to make things like they used to. Lastly, ot being able to enter the desired oven temperature requires excessive button pressing, and may lead to shorter life of some component.
