Problem #1 top scratched much easier than previous ranges I have owned from other manufacturers.Problem #2 The light that warns you of a hot surface or that a surface is on is the size of the head of a pin. It is not very visable and is mostly useless.Problem #3 smaller upper oven does not seem to heat evenly and food must be turned half way through cooking. This is probably due to the size of the smaller top oven and unavoidable.Problem #4 Control buttons are dificult to push. This makes adjusting temperature a pain in the rear. +I like the keep warm feature, very handy.I like the double oven,I like the dual burner (small and large surface).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Some good, some not so good

I love having a double oven and not having to give up wall space for a second oven. The smaller top oven is perfect for casseroles, pies, brownies, baked potatoes and more. More energy efficient to heat the small oven rather than the large. The only drawback I've found is no second timer for the ovens. The last double oven I owned had a separate timer for each oven. This one has only one timer, which is a downer when baking cookies in both ovens. Also, the surface is hard to clean on the black model.

great oven. buttons are hard to push. computer locked up once. other than that, everything works great. love the small oven. heats up fast.

I love being able to just turn on the smaller oven and cook instead of heating the entire big oven. I also love having a warming oven when I have company over.Excellent Product!

Whirlpool Gold 30-inch Self-Cleaning Double Oven Freestandin

I love my double oven. I have always wanted one because I like to cook. Sometimes I really need two ovens when I do lots of baking. I chose the Whirlpool because of all the good features and the price. I use the small oven like a toaster oven. It heats quickly and it has allowed me to get rid of my toaster oven. I love my range and I have already told everyone who has seen it how great it is.

Replacement for my whirlpool oven that died after one year

My new whirlpool range died after one year and i had to replace it. I looked at other brands but I wanted a double oven and whirpool had the best price so i decided to buy another whirlpool and get an extended warranty. So far so good and I really like having a double oven range. I use the small, top oven the most. Do not put food in before the oven preheats or it will never reach the desired temperature, especially with frozen food. Overall, I'm pleased with my oven. The range top is good. I like the warming eye. I miss having the drawer on the bottom but that's the price ou pay for two ovens.

This product can do many things and is user friendly. It does cook differently than a full oven so I have over cooked a few things and it seems to cook a lot hotter in one spot. But once you figure out the differences it is fabulous. It heats up fast and saves on our electric bill. I love having the feature of two ovens but didn't have the space or money for two separate ovens so this is perfect. The one thing I would change would be the buttons. They are hard to press but other than that I love it.

Love The Double Oven

With a bad back, it's hard to bend way down to load a conventional oven. With the double oven, cooking a pizza or a sheet of cookies is a walk in the park. Love it!!
