Heavy-duty woodwork

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow! This is a beautiful piece of woodwork. The grain finish is very nice. The dual sided cutting board has grooves on one side, specifically for cutting meat. The other side has a smooth surface for any other cutting. This cutting board is a SOLID piece of wood so beware of the weight this thing packs on. Love how much surface area you have to work with. 5 stars!! ⭐️

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the most beautiful cutting board I have ever seen, and it is absolutely massive which is perfect for putting over your stove. With it being so big, it’s a little harder to clean but it is 100% worth it. I love how it has the grooves on the edges to let any liquids flow into it. So happy I received this!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] John Boo's is a high-quality maple wood cutting board. It is excellent craftsmanship. It is solid and very durable. Recommend maintenance with oil. I would recommend this cutting board. However, make sure you order the right size. I wasn't paying attention to the size when ordering. It's huge and heavy. It's a little too big for me as I can't even fit it in my sink to wash it.

A must-have for any chef!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had a few days to work with my John Booz Maple Wood Cutting Board, and let me tell you, it has changed my kitchen game completely!
Right out of the box, this board is stunning, and there is no question about the quality of the wood or product. This cutting board is sleek, well-made, and reversible. You can prep an entire meal on one side, or both, and have no fear of cross-contaminated food.
What I love the most is how John Boos brand takes time to inform their customers about the company mission, proper board care, and the history of this company - none of which I knew well before reading the pamphlet that accompanied my board.
I had to order the Mystery Oil immediately (it was ~$15 on Amazon) because I know that this board will last a LONG time if I take proper care of it. I can also see where I went wrong with my wooden cutting boards in the past.
This board is incredible quality. I can’t wait to update pictures once it’s properly seasoned & put to good use. I am absolutely in love with my new cutting board!

Keep the board clean and oiled and it will last a very long time

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This John Boos maple wood cutting board is massive and I love it! The size is 24” x 18” x1.5” which makes is perfect for all of my cooking prep. Because it is reversible, I use one side to chop fruits and vegetables and the reverse side for cutting meats.
The cutting board has grooves on each side that makes it easy to transport this hefty cutting board.
Because the John Boos cutting board’s weight is substantial, there is no need to put wet paper towels under it to keep it from slipping as you use it. Nope. This board does not shift while cutting which is definitely a plus.
Maintaining this board with John Boos Mystery Butcher Block Oil should keep this block in perfect condition for years to come. In the meantime, I make sure to elevate the board after cleaning it to ensure air flows underneath to dry it. I use small metal seasoning tins as feet to elevate the cutting board.
I used my John Boos cutting board as my charcuterie board on New Years Eve. It was beautiful.
