High Quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am in love with my new Boos Cutting Board! This board is huge and thick. No exaggeration it is super heavy. This is not a cutting board to just pull out whenever you need it, because of how heavy it is, I leave it on my counter all the time. It does have finger grip grooves on the sides for when you do need to move it. This cutting board is a beautiful hard maple, that will be beautiful no matter your decor. It has certainly become a stylish yet functional centerpiece in my kitchen.

It looks beautiful so I keep it out all of the time. Its a pleasure to use and is easy to take care of with the recommended BOOS BLOCKS mystery oil and board

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am in love with my Boos Blocks Hard Rock Maple Cutting Board! As soon as I received I applied the oil. It's very heavy duty and and absolutely gorgeous. So beautiful, that when its not in use I leave it on top if my stove and use it as extra counter space. Friends are even commenting on it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This board is beautiful and the cleaning solutions that come with it help make it look and feel brand new every time you clean it - no matter what you were just cutting. This is rather large, so its easy to clean right on the counter, as opposed to running it to the sink. I look forward to using this for many, many years. You certainly get what you pay for and you will not be disappointed with this purchase.

After purchasing a new knife set I was told to buy a quality wooden cutting board to protect the knives, this certainly hit every mark I was looking for. I recommend buying the care kit to oil and condition your board before use and to keep it in amazing shape.

Terrific cutting board

The oils that come with the board are important, too. Keeping the board oiled and sealed helps it last longer and keeps it in great shape.

Quality Cutting Board

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had wooden cutting boards in the past but none of them compare to the quality of the John Boos Hard Rock Maple cutting board. This is a heavy cutting board so it stays put and doesn't move around when using it. It has recessed grooves on both sides which make it easy to pick up and move. It is reversible and both sides are nice and smooth. It lays perfectly flat so there is no rocking of the board. Before using the cutting board I generously oiled it and left it overnight and then wiped off the access and applied a layer of board paste and allowed that to sit over night. The next day I wiped down the board to remove any residual paste. The oil and paste process gave the cutting board a nice sheen and it slightly darkened the grain of the wood. While cutting up vegetables my knife just seemed to glide along. The cutting board easily wipes clean with a damp sponge. I highly recommend this cutting board, it's made of a high quality hard rock maple wood. I was very impressed with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cutting board is of tremendous quality. It definitely has the Boos reputation. The inset handles allows you to move and store easily. The kit to keep it refreshed is amazing. I used in on my old butcher block table and it worked just as well there as on the Boos. The board is a perfect size for those big jobs, like turkeys, hams, watermelon, etc.. It also looks great as a Charcuterie and cheese board
