Nerf disappointment

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So when I tell you I was excited to get this to play around with my boyfriend n son I was excited. Butttt the first thing is it requires 8 batteries which I had to buy and then we got them all in and it don’t even work .so I’m highly disappointed and I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone .

Hello and thank you for your feedback. The Nerf Rival Challenger MXXIV-1200 requires strong batteries, and we recommend using fresh alkaline batteries from a reputable manufacturer. If you are using heavy duty, super heavy duty, generic or rechargeable batteries, the blaster may not function properly.

Great durability

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good handheld size. Great power shoots fast. Downside, you run out of bullets in seconds and have to reload. A side tank maybe for more bullets to funnel in would be great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pretty cool Nerf weapon. My son is an absolute rival freak and this is one of his new favorites. It has a very decent motor and shoots pretty far pretty fast. The 12 round banana style magazine does empty very quickly. Comfortable to hold and not very heavy at all. The only downside is this toy gun utilizes eight AA batteries, which is pretty hefty.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is super fun to play with. The balls are soft and can be shot rather far. Now, I would love to say I want more, but the fact it takes 8 AA batteries bugs me. I feel it is a bit too many for a toy.
