Adhesive failed after 1 week

I was very careful when I installed the stand, cleaning my case with rubbing alcohol to ensure there were no oils on it first. It worked great for a week, but when the temps warmed up, the adhesive got gooey and wouldn’t support its own weight, let alone the weight of the phone.
Should have bought a kickstand case.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
