Its Sapphire Crystal face and IP68 rating mean I don’t baby it—I’ve worn it through sweaty cardio, beach days, and 12-hour hospital shifts without a scratch or hiccup.
Galaxy AI is the real game-changer. Each morning it serves up an Energy Score and bite-sized coaching tips pulled from my sleep, heart-rate, and activity data, so I know whether to push hard at the gym, binge-watch movies, or schedule a rest day. The watch’s BioActive Sensor and BIA readings give me body-composition metrics that my old scale never could, while AI-generated insights translate those numbers into plain-English advice.
For streaming and gaming, the rotating bezel makes volume and playlist control effortless when my phone’s docked across the room.
At work, hands-free replies save me; the watch suggests context-aware responses so I can text back without breaking policies. during those long 12 hours shifts, the watch buzzes subtle reminders to stand up and stretch which is handy for this cardiac monitor tech.

The watch worked very well for what I wanted, with (personally) a minor issue, and one major issue for me. The minor issue: low battery life, you will need to charge the watch every day, however for the cheapest watch in the lineup I'm not disappointed. The major issue: I am in the water a lot and I saw that the watch was water resistant, however after a few minutes of pool time I had issues, and once I took it off it shut off and I still haven't gotten it back on. Overall a good watch.

The Galaxy Watch FE is water and dust resistant, based on an IP68 rating. It can withstand being submerged in fresh water up to 5 feet for up to 30 minutes. It's also 5ATM rated, meaning it's water resistant to a depth of 50 meters for 10 minutes. Immediately after swimming in a pool, rinse the watch thoroughly with clean, fresh water. Pool water contains disinfectants and chemicals that can affect the water resistance over time if not removed. Be sure to dry the watch thoroughly with a soft, clean cloth. Also, make sure you turn on Water lock mode to prevent accidental touches on your screen. Mainly bought for irregular heart rate notification and ECG capabilities and at this time not sure is working as advertised. When doing an ECG checking for AFIB and checking several times I get conflicting results of being in AFIB and not and inconclusive all during the same time frame one after another. Also have not received any notifications of possible AFIB even after ECGs indicate results of possible AFIB.
