I was very excited to receive my galaxy ring but must admit to being disappointed. It does a fair job monitoring my sleep but lacking in monitoring everything else. I hate that I have to reinstate my workouts through the app even after stopping for just a few seconds. The ring needs recharging far more frequently than advertised.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Quit Working After 17 Months
on February 7, 2026
Posted by: SamsungCustomer
I purchased Galaxy Ring August 2024. The battery drains within one hour after being fully charged. I tried all the steps in the troubleshooting guide and problem remains. I expected the ring to last longer than 1 year. The warranty was only good for 12 months so the only chance of getting it repaired is to send it to Samsung's repair shop. They don' give you an idea of what the possible cost to diagnose and repair the ring would be. I definitely would not recommend this product.

Salutations SamsungCustomer, Thanks for finding the opportunity to share your thoughts with us about your experience using the Samsung Galaxy Ring. As you know, Samsung provides a 12-month warranty on your device for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. We also offer Samsung Care+ which is similar to an extended warranty and an insurance package combined. It can provide protection beyond the standard manufacturer's warranty. It could cover events like accidental damage, mechanical breakdowns, and potentially theft and loss. Samsung Care+ truly offers you the ultimate peace of mind when it comes to protecting your investment. Our partners at UbreakIfix are also available to assist you with your repair needs. On a single charge, the Galaxy Ring can last up to 7 days, depending on usage. Battery life may be extended by up to 30% if worn alongside a Galaxy Watch, as this helps reduce redundant feature usage. For optimal battery performance, it's recommended to store the Ring in its charging case when not in use. If left outside the case, the Ring's sensors will remain active, resulting in unnecessary battery consumption. Battery life for your Galaxy Ring can vary depending on environmental factors like temperature, network environment, and signal strength can all affect battery life. Also, usage patterns: frequent use of features like sleep tracking, work auto detection, and gesture controls can impact how long the battery lasts. To prevent damage to your device, avoid wearing other metal rings on the same or adjacent fingers, and remove the ring when handling heavy, hard, or abrasive objects. Please feel free to check out the resources shared below and to contact Samsung Support afterward if you have any questions or if you would like any further assistance. Thank you for being a staunch Samsung customer. - Debra

Another great samsung device

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this ring for tracking and taking care of my health. It automatically records all of my exercising and sleeping habits without having to reach for my phone it takes care of all my health information and is always updating g whe. I reach milestones it makes it easy without having to go into samsung health on phone and start workouts I can start running, walking or using weights and it automatically records all the information I need. Samung is and always will be the only products I buy and use galaxy AI for.
I’ve been using the Samsung Galaxy Ring and so far, I’m really impressed. The battery life is a big win, it lasts about 4–5 days on a single charge, even with me wearing it nonstop. I keep it on while washing dishes and showering, and it holds up well without any issues. The insights it provides are great, very similar to what I get from my smartwatch, but honestly, better in some ways since my watch usually dies in under 48 hours. Having something smaller and longer-lasting is super convenient. My only real complaint is the style. I chose the black version because it matches everything, but I do wish there were more color or design options beyond just silver and gold. It would be nice if we could customize or change the color to fit different looks. Overall, it’s a great device, functional, comfortable, and reliable. Just hoping for more style options in the future
I would recommend this to a friend!

...at my fingers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've reached the age where I don't put a price on my health, but when one parts with the extra coppers required to secure the organic, forever chemical free, non-plastic... you get the point... options, you are comforted to track your health and see your decisions transfer to improved health over time. My trusted Samsung watch covers a wide swatch of things but that also seems to mean it requires the same rest it constantly badgers me to seek. Cue my Samsung ring.
During the short window when my watch charges I would like to still be able to track my pulse, steps and body temperature. This is my holy trinity and my ring delivers one. If it is only to be a high end mood ring, then shouldn't the faint sensor light detected from the sides glow red, yellow and green to remind me to breathe when my watch can't?
The battery life is solid (as it is mostly in standby mode when I'm wearing my watch), the construction doesn't feel cheap, it handles my constant hand washing without issue and it picks up the gestures without issue (though this is my least used feature).
I'm in a good place in life with the world at my finger tips... but now I'd like a little bit more from my finger accessories.

Hi GeekAunty, Thanks for taking the opportunity to share your feedback with us regarding your experience using the Samsung Galaxy Ring. If you already have a Galaxy phone and watch, the Galaxy Ring serves as a companion device. It excels at providing seamless 24/7 health tracking, superior sleep comfort without screen distractions, and acts as a tag-team partner with your watch to extend overall battery life. Wearing both devices allows your watch and ring to share the load. For instance, you can charge your watch while taking a shower or sleeping, and the ring will seamlessly take over health and activity tracking so you never miss a metric. When the ring and watch are paired, Samsung’s ecosystem optimizes power by disabling the ring's redundant sensors when the watch is actively being used, boosting the ring's battery life by up to 30%. If you would like to share additional feedback with us regarding your experience or if you would like to share any other feedback with us, please feel free to contact Samsung Support at your leisure. Thank you for being a faithful Samsung customer. - Debra
