Not for all MagSafe Cases!

The charger is great if you have the Apple MagSafe cases. If you have any other one, the magnet won't hold for long. I have a a 3mm thick case and it holds for about a minute and then the phone falls off. LUCKILY, it didn't break the screen. I also have the rotation issue with the Apple Watch with both the Apple Leather Loop and Leather Link bands. Belkin said to use a heavier band. Yea, right, ok...or you could've used a heavier magnet to make sure all Apple bands consistently work with it...considering how much I spent on this charger.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The only problem is that if your phone case is not compatible, the phone won’t stay on the magnet. Works great without my phone case on. Also, the material the base is made of is a little difficult to keep clean.
