I bought 4 of these. Good headphones, but the mic starts disconnecting within weeks, until it doesn't work at all anymore.

Sound quality is decent but unfortunately the mic echos for players on the other end. Bought these on sale as a gift and unfortunately the return date has long passed or else I would have returned the headset.

Do not buy if you play online games

Bought the headset after seeing the reviews. Unfortunately the microphone picks up audio from the speakers in the headset. This means if you play online then it will echo for everyone else. Even on PlayStation with mic sensitivity set to the lowest and further in game mic adjustments - you must keep your volume low. Was sent cable replacements, new mic, and headset from hyperx and the issue still persists. At think at this price point it’s a fairly large flaw

On my pc it has really bad echoing, plus the audio cord that goes into the headset jostles around and messes with the audio quality, really regretting my purchase

Not compatible with Xbox purchased on the 19th and returned it on the 25th and I have the elite controller and Xbox series x

HyperX Cloud Alpha headset

I bought this headset for karaoke and online meetings, not for gaming. Have tried it so far for the first application only. The detachable microphone seems robust and is easy to adjust. The headset fits snugly over the ears and is very comfortable. Sound is very good, and the jacks (including to smartphone) work well. My only reservation is the volume control on the headset-phone cord: it is a tiny plastic knurled wheel and impossible to adjust with any accuracy --- one option is to set it to maximum, and then regulate the volume at the headphones with the smartphone volume buttons. Overall: loving it in the first month!
I would recommend this to a friend!
