Samsung Galaxy Ring poor product.

I am really disappointed with my Samsung Galaxy Ring. The first ring I purchased stopped connecting with my phone or charging. I sent it in for repair July 7, 2025 and they sent a new ring. The second ring is only 7 months old and is having connectivity and charging issues just like the original. The ring is out of warranty so there is a fee to repair. I have been a loyal Samsung brand person but I will not recommend this device to anyone.

Hey there Oksher,
Thanks for reaching out to share your thoughts with us about your experience using the Samsung Galaxy Ring. It's understandable that you may feel frustrated with your experience if your device is no longer performing as expected. As you know, Samsung provides a 12-month warranty on your device for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. We also offer Samsung Care+ which is similar to an extended warranty and an insurance package combined. It can provide protection beyond the standard manufacturer's warranty. It could cover events like accidental damage, mechanical breakdowns, and potentially theft and loss. Samsung Care+ truly offers you the ultimate peace of mind when it comes to protecting your investment. Our partners at UbreakIfix are also available to assist you with any repair needs you may have. On a single charge, the Galaxy Ring can last up to 7 days, depending on usage. Battery life may be extended by up to 30% if worn alongside a Galaxy Watch, as this helps reduce redundant feature usage. For optimal battery performance, it's recommended to store the Ring in its charging case when not in use. If left outside the case, the Ring's sensors will remain active, resulting in unnecessary battery consumption. Battery life for your Galaxy Ring can vary depending on environmental factors like temperature, network environment, and signal strength can all affect battery life. Also, usage patterns: frequent use of features like sleep tracking, work auto detection, and gesture controls can impact how long the battery lasts. If your Galaxy Ring disconnects from your phone, then there may be an issue with the Bluetooth connection. You can fix this by reestablishing the connection, ensuring there are no obstacles, and updating the Galaxy Wearable app. Also check out, "Galaxy Ring keeps disconnecting from phone" to address what you've described to be experiencing with your connectivity. Please do not hesitate to contact Samsung Support at one of the channels shared below if you would like further assistance after reviewing the resources provided. Thank you for being a devoted Samsung customer.

Everlasting ring
on March 18, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been utilizing the Galaxy Ring for almost a year, and I am consistently impressed by its enduring battery life. I find it necessary to recharge the device approximately once every two weeks, despite continuous 24/7 wear. This includes wearing it during showers and while sleeping, as it significantly aids in monitoring and managing my POTS symptoms. So impressive.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't usually wear watches but I like certain things like how many steps, heart rate an other functions then I saw the ring which has a lot of the same functions. I prefer the ring over the watch. Thank you

Waste of Money, hard to get help
on December 1, 2025
Posted by: Bree
I bought the black Samsung ring in November 2024. Within a few months, the color was wearing off. Within 10 months, the battery went from lasting 7 days to lasting 7 hours, and I am not exaggerating. The website takes you around in circles. I am now out of my warrant because it was too difficult to navigate to get help. So, after wearing the ring for 10 months, it is basically worthless.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Battery down to 1 day of life from a full charge.
on January 14, 2026
Posted by: John
from Denver, CO
Product battery life has deteriorated significantly. Advertised as 6 days but down to less than 1 day which defeats the purpose of sleep tracking. The degradation started within the warranty period but my wife did not inform me of the issue until recently and we are 14 months in so 2 months out of the warranty period. Expect to have to purchase this on a yearly basis based on this experience.
