Good day Gregt, Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts with us about your experience using the Samsung Galaxy Ring. Your critiques provide valuable insights that will assist us with improving our product line. As you know, Samsung provides a 12-month warranty on your device for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. We also offer Samsung Care+ which is similar to an extended warranty and an insurance package combined. It can provide protection beyond the standard manufacturer's warranty. It could cover events like accidental damage, mechanical breakdowns, and potentially theft and loss. Samsung Care+ truly offers you the ultimate peace of mind when it comes to protecting your investment. Our partners at UbreakIfix are also available to assist you with any repair needs you may have. On a single charge, the Galaxy Ring can last up to 7 days, depending on usage. Battery life may be extended by up to 30% if worn alongside a Galaxy Watch, as this helps reduce redundant feature usage. For optimal battery performance, it's recommended to store the Ring in its charging case when not in use. If left outside the case, the Ring's sensors will remain active, resulting in unnecessary battery consumption. Battery life for your Galaxy Ring can vary depending on environmental factors like temperature, network environment, and signal strength can all affect battery life. Also, usage patterns: frequent use of features like sleep tracking, work auto detection, and gesture controls can impact how long the battery lasts. To prevent damage to your device, avoid wearing other metal rings on the same or adjacent fingers, and remove the ring when handling heavy, hard, or abrasive objects. If you would like further assistance after checking out the resources shared below, please let us know by reaching out to Samsung Support at your leisure. Thank you for being a cherished Samsung customer. - Debra

Battery life is an issue over time.

I want to love my ring but I just can't. I am on my second ring after getting my first one replaced. I had my first ring for less than a year when the battery started draining extremely fast. I was having to charge it every 48 hours. I sent it in for "repairs" but it couldn't be fixed so I was given a refund which I used to purchase a new ring. I've had this ring for less than 6 months & I'm now having to charge it every day. I could send it in for repairs but what would be the point. I am sure the exact same thing will happen. I am so extremely disappointed! I am a true Samsung fanatic & want all of my devices to be connected. I was so excited about the potential features. But I really could've purchased a different brand if I knew that the ring wouldn't last at all & would be an absolute waste of money.

Waste of Money, hard to get help
on December 1, 2025

I bought the black Samsung ring in November 2024. Within a few months, the color was wearing off. Within 10 months, the battery went from lasting 7 days to lasting 7 hours, and I am not exaggerating. The website takes you around in circles. I am now out of my warrant because it was too difficult to navigate to get help. So, after wearing the ring for 10 months, it is basically worthless.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Battery down to 1 day of life from a full charge.
on January 14, 2026

Product battery life has deteriorated significantly. Advertised as 6 days but down to less than 1 day which defeats the purpose of sleep tracking. The degradation started within the warranty period but my wife did not inform me of the issue until recently and we are 14 months in so 2 months out of the warranty period. Expect to have to purchase this on a yearly basis based on this experience.
