I was never really a person to have health metrics but after seeing the insights it can give me, I have been much more proactive in trying to stay healthy, have good sleep, and its a good new habit to have. I love how it can detect energy levels because it is accurate, days when I dont get much sleep vs days I do, affects energy scores and i can feel it. I have asthma so seeing the oxygen levels during my sleep is super important to me as I get older.
I have had an Ultra Watch for almost a year and I could not get myself to sleep with it on. The ring lasts long enough and is not a bother. I can finally get good sleep tracking and daily stats to look at. Now I can wear a normal watch, will buy again, hopefully they come out with better/more color options.

After one year the battery hardly lasts 24 hours. It provides very little insights and ddefinitely a waste of money. It will now just go to the e-waste pile.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good day Pirahna, Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us about your experience using your Samsung Galaxy Ring. The Galaxy Ring monitors sleep, activity, and heart rate, providing insights like an "Energy Score" in the Samsung Health app to gauge daily readiness, while also tracking blood oxygen, skin temperature, and offering women's health features like menstrual cycle prediction. Its sensors gather data for sleep stages, heart rate variability, steps, calories, and more. On a single charge, the Galaxy Ring can last up to 7 days, depending on usage. Battery life may be extended by up to 30% if worn alongside a Galaxy Watch, as this helps reduce redundant feature usage. For optimal battery performance, it's recommended to store the Ring in its charging case when not in use. If left outside the case, the Ring's sensors will remain active, resulting in unnecessary battery consumption. Battery life for your Galaxy Ring can vary depending on environmental factors like temperature, network environment, and signal strength can all affect battery life. Also, usage patterns: frequent use of features like sleep tracking, work auto detection, and gesture controls can impact how long the battery lasts. Take a look at the resources below to help resolve what you've described. Feel free to contact Samsung Support afterward if you would like further assistance. Thank you for being a loyal Samsung customer. - Debra

I'd like to start off with the good. It looks good and it feels premium. The battery life has been consistently great, especially when paired with my galaxy watch. It's much more comfortable to wear in bed than a watch for tracking sleep as well.
But, it's definitely not perfect. The biggest issue is the fit. I purchased the sizing kit as I'm not really used to wearing rings or any other jewelry. After 4 days of testing, it ultimately fell on a size 10 or 11. I went one more full day and night wearing a size 10 and it seemed like the best fit. Unfortunately when I received the actual ring, it did not fit the same when I received it. It was way too tight. It didn't make sense because I had tested it out for two full days with the sizing kit, but now it was too tight at night and early morning. It also affected the rings monitoring. It would not get accurate readings for my heart rate or steps. It could have just been that particular ring. I decided to exchange for a size 11. After receiving that one, it does fit a lot better. But it's a little loose during the day and I constantly have to realign it. It also does not always get accurate readings when tested throughout the day. It is pretty good for sleep monitoring at least.
Overall, not having half sizes is a huge negative. I feel that if I had money to throw away, I would use an 11 at night and early morning, and a 10 for the late morning to evening. I know that the fit is more of a personal issue. It just unfortunately impacts the monitoring and tracking for me more than I feel is acceptable for a premium device.

Greetings Jacob, Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts with us about your experience using the Samsung Galaxy Ring. We appreciate your constructive input as we improve our product line. If your Galaxy Ring feels too tight even after utilizing the sizing kit to find your perfect size, it may be due to natural finger swelling from temperature changes, activity, or overnight fluid retention. Proper sizing is crucial for accurate health monitoring, as a loose fit can cause gaps in data collection, particularly for sleep tracking, heart rate, and movement. As you know, your Galaxy Ring must fit snugly to ensure the internal sensors maintain constant skin contact. If you would like to share any other feedback with us or if you would like any further assistance, please feel free to reach out to Samsung Support. We're happy to listen and work toward a better experience for our customers. Thank you for choosing Samsung! - Debra
