I really enjoy this addition to the samsung ecosystem. Battery life is great, look and feel is perfect, the charging case is a work of art and tech, and the metrics coming from the device are reliable and allow me not to have to rely on the watch all the time. Highly recommended, particularly because it doesn't have a subscription charge.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great concept but more can be done

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The galaxy ring is very minimalist which i love although it lacks the heft of a traditional ring. From afar or gets the job done though. My main gripe is that it does not use the tap function for more things. Dismissing alarms and taking pictures is fine but answering phone calls or skipping songs feels like a missed opportunity.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my galaxy ring. It tracks my sleep and I can't even really feel when I'm wearing it. It fits so comfortable. I do recommend the sizing option before you order so you can make sure you have the perfect fit for your finger because the sizes are different.

Excellent supplemental accessory to improve health

Prior to purchasing my Galaxy Ring, I had the first two generations of the Oura Ring. I loved my Oura when I first got it in 2020. It did everything my Samsung Watch did at the time and was comfortable enough. I upgraded to the Oura 2 in 2022. Not much of an upgrade. By 2024, the Oura would die after less than a day. By the time I jumped on the trade in at Samsung, my Oura would only hold a charge for 6 hours. Very disappointing.
So far I love my Galaxy Ring. It's lighter and classier looking than either of the Oura rings. It does a lot more too. Paired with my Samsung Galaxy Watch4 and Flip 5, I get regular updates on what I've done and could be doing better to improve my health. Sleep monitoring and heart rate are incredible compared to the Oura.
The charging case is just like my Galaxy Buds. Charges in the case, wireless built in, no USB needed.
