The flick fingers twice option didn't work at all for ring interaction but the real killer is that the ring outside layer is plastic when it seemed like steel in all pictures and marketing. Looks cheap!

The new Galaxy Ring is the best way to track your daily wellness, featuring a compact and lightweight design that complements any outfit. It effortlessly measures your health data on its own, and you can connect it to your Galaxy phone via Bluetooth to view your wellness data in the Samsung Health app. The Galaxy Ring also supports gestures, allowing you to easily dismiss alarms or take photos and videos with a double pinch of your fingers, provided your phone is running One UI 6.1.1 or higher. To enable gesture controls, open the Galaxy Wearable app on your connected phone and, if you have multiple wearables, select the Ring first. Then, tap on "Gestures" and toggle on the switches next to "Dismiss alarm" and "Take picture or video." Finally, tap "Try it" to test if the Ring is capturing your gesture by double pinching your fingers while wearing it. We also noted your concerns about the design of the ring. So much better for sleep tracking!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was trying to use my Galaxy watch for Samsung Health sleep tracking but it was too uncomfortable for me to sleep with a watch on. I switched to using the Galaxy Ring and tracking has been SOOO much better. The ring is super comfortable, has many important health tracking monitors, and is just another seamless device in the amazing Samsung Galaxy ecosystem. Battery life on the ring is also incredible!
