Not what i expected. I thought it would work together with the watch, but either the watch will do the readings or the ring only while you sleep. Was hoping they would both give readings to see which was more accurate. And the size 13 was still too small for my index. The sizing ring fit snug on index, the actual ring was way to tight. I have to wear it on my ring finger. If i had known this before i would not have purchased it 😑
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thick, wide and bulky. It takes time to get used to it. Holds charge for about a week. It seams built well, withstanding scratches and constant water exposure. Size 13 was the biggest available and it barely fit my middle finger where I found the most comfortable to wear it. I am certain that much larger fingers exist out there and some folks may not be able to wear it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very surprised at how detailed the information is that it gives you. I have been using it to monitor my sleep and it's been fantastic! The fact that it measures various aspects of your health and displays graphs and makes recommendations on how to improve your health amazes me. It's also very durable. I've gotten it wet and dirty with dust and nothing happened. I'm very happy with my purchase of my Galaxy Ring!

Walking is not accurate. When walking on a floor, it records more steps than taken.
When using an exercise stepper, it doesn't record enough steps.
Health app has exercise machine choices, but they don't show heart rate nor steps.

With the Galaxy Ring, you can monitor your health and wellness using energy, sleep, heart rate, and activity tracking features. The data from each can be viewed in the Samsung Health app, including your energy score, which provides a comprehensive analysis of your sleep, daily activities, and heart rate data. You can also analyze and record your sleep by measuring your heart rate, blood oxygen, and skin temperature. Additionally, the device can measure and record your heart rate, and it can automatically detect and track walking and running once you enable it in the Samsung Health settings in the Galaxy Wearable app. If the steps counting feature is not functioning correctly, it's important to make sure that your Ring is up to date with the latest software available. You can check your phone for available updates. From the Settings menu, tap Software update, and then tap Check for new update or Download and install. Follow the prompts to install the new update. Your ring collects activity diagnostics such as steps, exercise time, and exercise and total calories burned. All diagnostics can be viewed using the Samsung Health app. Open the Samsung Health app on your phone, and then tap Steps. Tap More options (the three vertical dots), and then tap Select step data to show. This will display All steps and Mobile phone. From here, you can choose your desired option. If you've selected All steps, it will show the combined step total for your phone and all connected devices. They all work seamlessly together monitoring health, sleeping habits, heart rate and I enjoy getting my recommendations from my sleep coach using AI in the health app.
