Thank you for sharing your honest review with us, Luis. We always appreciate hearing from you and hope to continue receiving your feedback in the future. We noticed that you shared your thoughts about the Galaxy Ring. The Galaxy Ring is made of titanium with a 10ATM and has IP68 water resistance. It weighs between 2.3 grams to 3.2 grams depending on the size, making it compact and lightweight. With a timeless design that complements any outfit, the Galaxy Ring is easy to wear and consistently measures your health data on its own. You can connect the Ring to your Galaxy phone using its Bluetooth feature and view your wellness data in the Samsung Health app. The battery life of the Ring will vary based on its size. For example, size 5 offers 18mAh, and size 13 offers 23.5mAh. When fully charged using the charging case, the Ring provides up to 7 days of battery life and takes 80 minutes to fully charge. Great battery life, so durable and lightweight I forget it's on! Works well with galaxy watch so when ome or the other is charging I always know my stats!
I ordered the Galaxy Ring, hoping it'd be a good replacement for monitoring my health instead of wearing a watch. However, Samsung botched the release by not having enough supply - on top of the ring sizes being incredibly inaccurate. I'm not a big person, and I have fairly normal size guy hands. The size 13 barely fits my ring finger, I have to wet it to get it to slide on fully. I'm more comfortable after a few weeks of wearing it, but it's still a huge hassle. A size 14 would've been perfect. And now I'm stuck with this size for a year or two until the next batch of rings come out.
I'm also seeing huge differences between my ring and watch. While wearing the watch, you can't get your heart rate using the ring, indicating they don't actually "work" together. I don't know which device is more accurate. At this point, I'm not sure if either are accurate.
As far as the quality of the device, there are already paint chips on the ring. I work from home and haven't really done anything to cause it to chip, but here we are.
The battery lasts long, I usually charge it every 5 days which isn't too bad.
Overall, I'm not impressed with the ring. If it fit on my finger better, I'd be much happier. Hopefully the next version of this Ring offers better sizes, more availability, and better sensors.
For the cost of the product from a company like Samsung, I expected a much better quality product. I'll keep it and when the "Galaxy Ring 2" comes out, I may or may not upgrade.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I had to wait a LONG>>>>>> time for my ring to get here and it did so only after my repeated calls to Samsung. I like the ring's sleep tracking except for when it stops tracking sleep when I get up in the middle of the night to go to the potty. No real instructions came with the ring, so I still haven't figured out how to track activity. My ring is comfortable on the first finger of my right hand.
