Ordered a black cover for my husband and a white one for myself. They do the job and we really enjoy the look and feel of the cover. It's sturdy and I love the case insert that holds the pen. It is removable, but we prefer to have it on.
It's definitely not a cover I would have on for outdoor use but, it is really nice for a business professional setting or just for at home. It's aesthetically pleasing if that's something you care about. If you're looking for a sturdier thicker cover, I recommend checking out Samsung's outdoor cover! That one is designed for an active lifestyle and will protect your tablet from bumps and drops.

So far, I have really enjoyed my new tablet. It is markedly faster and smoother than my s7 FE and the new cameras are a great imporvement as well. My only complaint would be that I don't feel as though there was a significant jump in battery life. I know this might be expected as it does have improved computing power, and isn't a huge problem. Just the only thing I could think of that was a slight issue.

The tablet is fast with great video. It is very comfortable to hold whether sitting in a chair or laying in bed. The cover works very well once I figured out how to use it. I do have an issue with the fingerprint option and ability to power down that almost caused a warranty repair. The sensor works very fast and is not the issue. You must enter your password once every 72 hours. I don't think I ever heard or read about this requirement. If for some reason you don't remember your password the tablet can't be powered off. Samsung help can not send any commands unless the tablet is in the power up mode. Their solution was to wait until the battery was complexly dead and they would then give it a try. The other option was to send it into have it factory reset which currently might take two weeks. In stumbling around trying to remember my usual 4 digit password I hit some extra number and rather than a blank screen was warned incorrect password. I switched to my standard longer password and was able to logon.
This tablet is great and well worth the cost just keep a copy of passwords and pins in a secure place. I now use may LassPass account. My only complaint is the inability to power off if you aren't logged int.
