loved it until.....

I loved this ring, fit great, gives great information. Then about one year after I bought it, the battery started rapidly losing its charge on a daily basis. I reset it several times and it would be okay for a day or two, but then suddenly down to nothing. I'm concerned if I get another one I will have the same issue after one year.

Hello there Workitout, thank you for reaching out to share your sentiments with us regarding your experience using the Samsung Galaxy Ring. We value your thoughts as we continue to improve the functionality and performance of our product line. As you know, Samsung provides a 12-month warranty on your device for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. We also offer Samsung Care+ which can be added to eligible devices. It's like extended warranty and an insurance package combined together to provide protection beyond the standard manufacturer's warranty. It may cover events like accidental damage, mechanical breakdowns, and potentially theft and loss. Samsung Care+ offers you the ultimate peace of mind when added to your eligible devices. Our partners at UbreakIfix are also standing by to assist you with your repair needs. We understand how frustrating it may be to have a device not performing up to expectations. On a single charge, the Galaxy Ring can last up to 7 days, depending on usage. Battery life may be extended by up to 30% if worn alongside a Galaxy Watch, as this helps reduce redundant feature usage. For optimal battery performance, it's recommended to store the Ring in its charging case when not in use. If left outside the case, the Ring's sensors will remain active, resulting in unnecessary battery consumption. Battery life for your Galaxy Ring can vary depending on environmental factors like temperature, network environment, and signal strength can all affect battery life. Also, usage patterns: frequent use of features like sleep tracking, work auto detection, and gesture controls can impact how long the battery lasts. Please take a moment to review, "How to charge the Galaxy Ring" if you would like to learn more about the factors that may be impacting the life of your device. If you would like additional assistance or if you would like to share more feedback with us, please do not hesitate to contact Samsung Support. Thanks for being a faithful Samsung customer. - Debra

Battery died in less than a year
on December 10, 2025
Posted by: scsc
I found the ring annoying to use as it was a bit bulky and got in the way sometimes.
Eventually, less than a year of ownership, the battery started dying much faster than I expected. I wasn't sure what was wrong, I tried to verify it was dying, tried to factory reset, and sure enough after testing multiple times, from a full charge I would go down to 50% and then dead within a few hours. I set it aside for a while as I had some personal medical issues I was having to address for months.
Months later, I tried to charge it again and it is completely dead when it comes out of the box, so battery on the ring itself completely died.
I tried filing for a warranty but I was just slightly out of the warranty time frame. My fault for not filing earlier but I have more pressing concerns.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The worst investment ever! I have heart issues, this thing marks nothing. No period prediction as it says, nothing just sleep and inaccurate heart beats.
