Excellent for tracking health stats and looks very nice. It makes me more aware of my sleep habits as well since it gives you a sleep rating and breakdown of different sleep stages. The cost is pretty high, but at least there isn't a monthly subscription like other rings so I'd say it's worth it.
This is a great addition. I had a watch and changed to the ring to track my steps, and it works really well. The only thing is it offers more information with the energy score which includes the intensity of a workout. The ring only measures intensity for walking and running, so I think having the watch in addition will provide information for other work outs.

Data is good, design shape is terrible

I am quite pleased overall with the functionality and data it provides. It took me a while to trust the data, but now that I've been wearing it for several months I find it generally trustworthy. My biggest complaint is the stupid shape - it's not curved like a typical wedding band but rather has sharp corners. This has lead to recurrent blisters on my pinky finger next to the ring. I will have to stop wearing it for 3-4 days every few weeks to give that finger a chance to heal after blisters form next to the right from it's physical trauma caused by the sharp edges of the shape. It doesn't taper at the sides, it gets thicker and has a sharp corner. For this reason, I'm quite disappointed because it's not very pleasant to wear and if you shake hands with the wrong person, your surrounding fingers will be crushed by the ring. I know it recommends wearing it on the index finger, but data is accurate on the ring finger also and I didn't want a huge fat ring on my index finger.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have been wearing the ring for the last three weeks. Perfect synchronization with Samsung Health. Great sleep tracker. Automatically detect every time you walk; other workouts must be loaded manually. I find it very comfortable.
