For the most part it works as expected, but not without error. For example, a few nights I know I did not sleep well yet somehow I had a good sleep score. Also, it doesn't always capture snoring.
The ring is exceptional and a great value. It enhances the ability to monitor health aspects of Samsung's Health application. I'm able to wear it continuously opposed to previously with just the watch giving better feedback to the application. The battery life is great and lasted 10 days with the initial charge when combined with other devices to share the task. I'm extremely happy with the Samsung ring and recommend it.
I love my smart ring so much and that all my data is on one app. It's probably my favorite smart wearable out of my upgrade. I never want to take it off and it's just everything the oura claimed to be but better and fits better on my hand.
It does get smudged looking easily but generally I clean it like I do my electronics and it's been okay.
I would recommend this to a friend!

love my ring, my only complaint...

I've had my ring for a month. the only complaint I have, it tracks my keyboard typing as steps. From 8 to 5 I'm sitting on my butt all day and have at least 7000 "steps" by the time I get off work.
Bought the ring to track sleep and it disconnects every night for a few hours thus, not correctly tracking my sleeping.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I was hesitant at the beginning about getting the Galaxy Ring because of how little features it had, such as limited exercise tracking and the obvious lack of a display. I had just upgraded to the Watch7 from the Watch6 (which, as a side note, has been a welcoming upgrade), so I didn't want to purchase such an expensive first-generation device with comparatively fewer features.
However, I really needed something smaller with still just as much daily life tracking, so I ended up buying it. I went with the size 6 (I'm tiny!), and I have to say, I should have got this way earlier!
The Ring feels surprisingly comfortable. No more aggravating watch faces getting caught on my pillow during sleep and irritating my skin. I can freely wash my hands with the Ring on, and it dries very quickly (just be mindful of underneath the Ring). It has been over a month now, and I can vouch that the Ring lasts impressively long. I have reached over a week of battery life with the size 6, with over 15K steps every day, so the Ring is constantly doing work. I do not wear my Watch together with the Ring, and I switch to it only when I work out, as metal weights will surely scratch the Ring (despite how durable it is).
This has been a game changer in keeping track of my health metrics! The only thing I cannot do that I use regularly is the body composition, as that requires the Watch's buttons to measure, but that hasn't been much of a cumbersome additional routine to my life (despite what little details it actually provides for my benefit, but that's not the point).
I am excited to see what more Samsung has prepared for a hopefully next iteration of the Galaxy Ring!
