This is my second ring purchase and can honestly say the battery life on these is horrible. Samsung's warranty process is a joke.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello there Shamshùnged, Thank you for taking the opportunity to share your sentiments with us about your experience using the Samsung Galaxy Ring. Your constructive feedback allows us to make improvements on our devices. As you know, Samsung provides a 12-month warranty on your device for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. We also offer Samsung Care+ which is similar to an extended warranty and an insurance package combined. It can provide protection beyond the standard manufacturer's warranty. It could cover events like accidental damage, mechanical breakdowns, and potentially theft and loss. Samsung Care+ truly offers you the ultimate peace of mind when it comes to protecting your investment. Our partners at UbreakIfix are also available to assist you with any repair needs you may have. On a single charge, the Galaxy Ring can last up to 7 days, depending on usage. Battery life may be extended by up to 30% if worn alongside a Galaxy Watch, as this helps reduce redundant feature usage. For optimal battery performance, it's recommended to store the Ring in its charging case when not in use. If left outside the case, the Ring's sensors will remain active, resulting in unnecessary battery consumption. Battery life for your Galaxy Ring can vary depending on environmental factors like temperature, network environment, and signal strength can all affect battery life. Also, usage patterns: frequent use of features like sleep tracking, work auto detection, and gesture controls can impact how long the battery lasts. To prevent damage to your device, avoid wearing other metal rings on the same or adjacent fingers, and remove the ring when handling heavy, hard, or abrasive objects. If you would like further assistance after reviewing the resources provided, please let us know by contacting Samsung Support at your earliest convenience. Thank you for being a faithful Samsung customer. - Debra

I purchased Galaxy Ring August 2024. The battery drains within one hour after being fully charged. I tried all the steps in the troubleshooting guide and problem remains. I expected the ring to last longer than 1 year. The warranty was only good for 12 months so the only chance of getting it repaired is to send it to Samsung's repair shop. They don' give you an idea of what the possible cost to diagnose and repair the ring would be. I definitely would not recommend this product.

After one year the battery hardly lasts 24 hours. It provides very little insights and ddefinitely a waste of money. It will now just go to the e-waste pile.

Good day Pirahna, Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us about your experience using your Samsung Galaxy Ring. The Galaxy Ring monitors sleep, activity, and heart rate, providing insights like an "Energy Score" in the Samsung Health app to gauge daily readiness, while also tracking blood oxygen, skin temperature, and offering women's health features like menstrual cycle prediction. Its sensors gather data for sleep stages, heart rate variability, steps, calories, and more. Love the idea behind the product but I have had mine warranty replaced after just 7 months due to the battery only lasting 2 days. Now again after another 6 months the battery is down to lasting maybe 40 to 50 hours forcing me to recharge almost daily. Not even close to the 6 days it lasted when it was new. Now out of warranty I have an almost useless piece of tech I paid good money for. If it gets below 30 hours a charge I'm throwing it in the garbage. I will not keep paying an annual subscription via repair services. I would rather just get an Oura ring if I'm paying constantly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
