[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn't know what to expect of a smart ring at first, but Samsung smart ring has really deliver with its compact and comfortable format. The ring snug right into my finger and perform its duty while I continue my daily activity. I must say the Galaxy AI in turn with the health function allows a smooth and accessible data of my health and activity clearly.
Generally, I am happy with the purchase. The stats that it provides (e.g., energy score and sleep scores) are intuitive, and I do use them to get insights into my health/wellness routine. I am not entirely sure whether the stress score is valid, or how to interpret it, since it changes drastically every time. Even though titanium is used as the base material, it does look a bit plasticky. Sometimes the ring would mislabel naps (e.g., if I watch TV). Other than that, it fits well, and I think it is a good alternative to watches, since it does not have a distracting screen and currently keeps a charge for around one week.
I recently traded in my Oura ring for the Samsung Galaxy Ring. I have a Samsung phone so connecting and setting up the ring was very easy. Samsung Health connects to Google Health Connect, so my other meal and exercise tracking app data flowed right in. I like the fit and form factor of the Samsung with its matted finish. I love the gesture controls to take photos from a distance!
I bought the ring a little over a year ago. It worked perfectly for approximately nine months, and then the battery started lasting no longer than 24 hours. Luckily, it was still under warranty; I sent the product in, they fixed the defect, and now—four months later—the battery doesn't last more than 12 hours. I am no longer under warranty, and they are charging me a fee to repair it. I decided not to pay the fee; instead, I will take the money I would have spent to keep the ring working for a few more months and invest it in an Oura Ring. It is more expensive, but it seems to be of higher quality.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hey Rafaella, Thanks for reaching out to share your sentiments with us about your experience using the Samsung Galaxy Ring. We understand that you may feel frustrated with your experience with your battery life on your Galaxy Ring. As you know, Samsung provides a 12-month warranty on your device for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. We also offer Samsung Care+ which is similar to an extended warranty and an insurance package combined. It can provide protection beyond the standard manufacturer's warranty. It could cover events like accidental damage, mechanical breakdowns, and potentially theft and loss. Samsung Care+ truly offers you the ultimate peace of mind when it comes to protecting your investment. Our partners at UbreakIfix are also available to assist you with any repair needs you may have. On a single charge, the Galaxy Ring can last up to 7 days, depending on usage. Battery life may be extended by up to 30% if worn alongside a Galaxy Watch, as this helps reduce redundant feature usage. For optimal battery performance, it's recommended to store the Ring in its charging case when not in use. If left outside the case, the Ring's sensors will remain active, resulting in unnecessary battery consumption. Battery life for your Galaxy Ring can vary depending on environmental factors like temperature, network environment, and signal strength can all affect battery life. Also, usage patterns: frequent use of features like sleep tracking, work auto detection, and gesture controls can impact how long the battery lasts. I bought this ring in addition to the Samsung 23 Ultra, then the 24 Ultra, Galaxy watch, Bud Pro 2 and Bud Pro 3 after switch from the company that is the fruit. Ive really enjoyed the freedom and personality this eco system has. So when I saw the ring I had to have it despite being not great financially. I figured everything else lasted so this should as well. The ring has worked great for the first several months and nothing g indicated any issues. Ran diagnostics weekly, some time more, no issues with anything. A few weeks ago I noticed my ring wouldn't last more than several hours after the last few updates to the ring. Lucky if I got a handful of hour. My buddy, who loves samsung as well, mentioned that his galaxy ring was draining on him. Keep in mind he bought his a month after seeing mine. I told him mine was as well. He said he contacted damsung amd they were happy to take it back amd switch it for a new one.A week later he told me he had already gotten his replacement and I decided juat to try and see what Samsung would do. I realized my warranty expired 2-3 weeks prior but certainly SAMSUNG would do the right thing? I mean after all they are fully aware they put out a product that only last a year and press you to get the insurance and warranties to offset the replacements they will have to send out. You rhink they'd want to make it right for shipping out dud rings. I can speculate if its all Galaxy ring or juat the first generation of them. I was just shocked they nit picked over a couple of weeks concerning thw warranty time frame. If you are looking for a quality long lasting health ring id look other places. You might as well just burn 320ish in a fire. At least spend it on something that will last. This is how big companies loose customers by not caring about the garbage products they put out or customer satisfaction .
BOO SAMSUNG BOO! 👎🏽

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Galaxy ring is a very funtional accessory, I love the features of being able to keep tabs on my health and the functionality that it offers. I sometimes forget I am using it due to the comfortability and light weights. I alson enjoy the additional functions of gestures.
