I earned this!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been wanting one of thsse ring since they came out. I told myself that if I started a workout routine and stuck with it for 3 months I'd buy myself one. Now I have this nice new Samsung ring and an excellent work out habit to use it with. It works really well for me with my Samsung health app to keep track of absolutely everything you can think of during your workout, walk, run or just an average day! It was definitely worth it!!

Very pleased with the pairing and the integration to the Galaxy ecosphere! I no longer wear my watch to sleep and can use that downtime to charge the watch while the ring keeps track of my sleep. Battery anxiety gone... :D
I would recommend this to a friend!

Lacking technology and accuracy tracking
on March 19, 2026
Posted by: KentF

I owned a Ringconn for 2 years and because all my other technology is Samsung, I decided to change my ring to Samsung. After 3 weeks of using the Samsung ring I am disappointed. I play tennis for 2 hours and the ring only captures 2,000 steps. My watch and previous rings would capture at least 5,000 steps. The Ringconn also detected activity and suggested a form of exercise and asked me to categorized that activity. The Samsung does not recognize antiviral. Also, the sleep scoring is unpredictable. Last night I slept 7 hours and 45 minutes with 1 hrs 45 minutes deep sleep, 1hr 30 minutes REM. And fell asleep in 5 minutes(but the watch recorded 4hours). That was a sleep score of 50!!! The look of the ring is nice and so is the finish. I feel like the technology is off or I have a defective ring.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Howdy KentF,
Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts with us about your experience using the Samsung Galaxy Ring. We appreciate your candor as we make every effort to improve the performance and functionality of our product line. Samsung provides a 12-month warranty on our products for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. Inaccurate step counts and/or activity tracking on your Galaxy Ring often stem from improper fit or incorrect sensor orientation (sensors should face the palm). For your convenience, I have linked a few resources below to help resolve what you've described to be experiencing with your device. After checking them out, feel free to reach out to Samsung Support if you would like further assistance. Thank you for being a valued Samsung customer.

Greetings Mohan,
Thanks for sharing your feedback with us about your experience with using the Samsung Galaxy Ring. We appreciate your candor as we improve the design and functionality of our product line. Samsung provides a 12-month warranty for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. Hand movements like typing or playing musical instruments may produce an inaccurate step count with the Galaxy Ring. An improper fit can also affect accuracy. Your Galaxy Ring needs to be snug but not too tight, and the sensors should be properly positioned on the palm side of the hand. Please feel free to review, "Keep track of your workouts with the Galaxy Ring" to help resolve what you may be experiencing with your device. Feel free to reach out to Samsung Support afterward if you would like any further assistance. We're also happy to help! Thank you for being a valued Samsung customer.

Durability

I ordered the ring on tmobile in April 2025, end of February ring stopped holding a charge out of no where, I contacted support only to be directed to repair location, who's cost exceeds the value of the unit. I would hope a quality product would last at least 1 year.
Response from Samsung USBy R&R TeamMarch 19, 2026
Howdy Nesto,
Thank you for taking the time to share your sentiments with us about your experience using the Samsung Galaxy Ring. We value your feedback as we continue to improvement the functionality and performance of our product line. Samsung provides a 12-month warranty on your device for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. We also offer Samsung Care+ which is similar to an extended warranty and an insurance package combined. It can provide protection beyond the standard manufacturer's warranty. It could cover events like accidental damage, mechanical breakdowns, and potentially theft and loss. Samsung Care+ truly offers you the ultimate peace of mind when it comes to protecting your investment. Our partners at UbreakIfix are also available to assist you with any repair needs you may have. On a single charge, the Galaxy Ring can last up to 7 days, depending on usage. Battery life may be extended by up to 30% if worn alongside a Galaxy Watch, as this helps reduce redundant feature usage. For optimal battery performance, it's recommended to store the Ring in its charging case when not in use. If left outside the case, the Ring's sensors will remain active, resulting in unnecessary battery consumption. Battery life for your Galaxy Ring can vary depending on environmental factors like temperature, network environment, and signal strength can all affect battery life. Also, usage patterns: frequent use of features like sleep tracking, work auto detection, and gesture controls can impact how long the battery lasts. Please take a moment to review the resources shared below to help resolve what you've described to be experiencing with your device. If you would like any further assistance afterward or if you have any questions, please feel free to contact Samsung Support. Thank you for being a loyal Samsung customer.

Everlasting ring

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been utilizing the Galaxy Ring for almost a year, and I am consistently impressed by its enduring battery life. I find it necessary to recharge the device approximately once every two weeks, despite continuous 24/7 wear. This includes wearing it during showers and while sleeping, as it significantly aids in monitoring and managing my POTS symptoms. So impressive.
