Poor battery life

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This device has been disappointing. The battery life after less than a year is only about 48 hours at best. It also does not accurately record steps. Thee are days when it records no steps at all.

Hey Ozconnie, Thank you for sharing your feedback with us about your experience using the Samsung Galaxy Ring. Your critiques provide valuable insights that will assist us with improving our product line. As you know, Samsung provides a 12-month warranty on your device for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. We also offer Samsung Care+ which is similar to an extended warranty and an insurance package combined. It can provide protection beyond the standard manufacturer's warranty. It could cover events like accidental damage, mechanical breakdowns, and potentially theft and loss. Samsung Care+ truly offers you the ultimate peace of mind when it comes to protecting your investment. Our partners at UbreakIfix are also available to assist you with any repair needs you may have. On a single charge, the Galaxy Ring can last up to 7 days, depending on usage. Battery life may be extended by up to 30% if worn alongside a Galaxy Watch, as this helps reduce redundant feature usage. For optimal battery performance, it's recommended to store the Ring in its charging case when not in use. If left outside the case, the Ring's sensors will remain active, resulting in unnecessary battery consumption. Battery life for your Galaxy Ring can vary depending on environmental factors like temperature, network environment, and signal strength can all affect battery life. Also, usage patterns: frequent use of features like sleep tracking, work auto detection, and gesture controls can impact how long the battery lasts. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this Samsung device for a few weeks now and it has significantly improved my daily routine. The addition of Galaxy AI makes simple tasks much faster and more intuitive, especially for translating content and organizing my notes for work and school. The screen quality is outstanding for streaming and gaming, and the system runs very smoothly. It is a reliable and smart tool that has truly enhanced the way I interact with technology every day.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was working great. Suddenly dies not hold a charge any longer.

Better failure. I'm surprised to see this same comment from other users. I've used all Samsung products (except the VR headsets) which I was about to purchase. The experience with this ring has really been disappointing. The battery used to last a week and now last a few hours at best. This happened all at once and it of nowhere. Support has been as disappointing as everyone else has noticed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So along with the galaxy watch this ring allows you to continue tracking your habits (especially sleeping) if for any reason you forget to wear your watch. Love that I still get to do everyday activities while being able to track w.e I need to be tracked. A backup to a backup
I’ve been using the Samsung Galaxy Ring and so far, I’m really impressed. The battery life is a big win, it lasts about 4–5 days on a single charge, even with me wearing it nonstop. I keep it on while washing dishes and showering, and it holds up well without any issues. The insights it provides are great, very similar to what I get from my smartwatch, but honestly, better in some ways since my watch usually dies in under 48 hours. Having something smaller and longer-lasting is super convenient. My only real complaint is the style. I chose the black version because it matches everything, but I do wish there were more color or design options beyond just silver and gold. It would be nice if we could customize or change the color to fit different looks. Overall, it’s a great device, functional, comfortable, and reliable. Just hoping for more style options in the future
This was a great buy at first. I was warned that it will eventually be useless as a wearable and just fad into being just a ring. I bought two, one for my wife as well. Sure enough, after a year of use, the charge got shorter and shorter and it finally stop charging on both devices. We loved the fit, style and functionality when it worked. Afterwards, we no longer wear them. We would have given it a 5 star but the lack of durability, knocks two stars off.
