Easy to Wear, Easier to Use

It is easy to wear and keep track of my heart rate and sleeping metrics when I am charging my watch. So, I like having the redundancy in measuring my metrics. Also, I like how the charging case is portable and aesthetic, with the white led showing charge level.

worked great during the warranty period! main goal is to monitor my sleep metrics BUT right after the 12mth mark, the battery degradation started. it used to last about a week then dropped to 3-4 days. within months it lasted 2 days and by 3mths out of the warranty, it doesn't last more than 3 hours and constantly disconnects from my phone. wasn't previously aware of the battery drain issue and now have a useless, overpriced metal band.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My ring, as with other's reviews I've read, lasted about a year. I have Samsung phones and Samsung watches which should've helped save battery life, but after the first year my ring will not charge. The case shows full charge and the ring will show full charge, but I put the ring on and it's dead within minutes. I was thrilled with it when I bought it to track sleep and daily steps...now it and the case are only a paperweight.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I purchased my original Samsung Galaxy Ring in February 2025. Unfortunately, I begin experiencing problems with the ring and eventually had it replaced by Samsung in October 2025. Now the replacement ring is experiencing the same battery issue. The battery is not holding a charge properly, making the ring unreliable for continuous health,activity, and sleep tracking. What makes this especially frustrating is that this isn't simply one defective ring. I am now experiencing a similar problem with my second Galaxy Ring from the same original purchase. After already going through the replacement process once, I did not expect to be dealing with another battery failure less than a year later. For a premium-priced wearable, I expect the battery to remain reliable for considerably longer than this. I like the concept and features of the Galaxy Ring, but none of that matters if the device cannot consistently hold a charge. At this point, I believe Samsung needs to take a serious look at the battery reliability of the Galaxy Ring. Customers should not have to repeatedly replace a premium device because of premature battery problems. Based on my experience with two rings since February 2025. I cannot recommend the Samsung Galaxy Ring unless Samsung addresses the battery reliability issues.

The hardware is surprisingly lightweight, durable, and comfortable enough that I completely forget I am wearing it. Passive health tracking is continuous and consistent, the sleep staging data syncs reliably without manual intervention, and battery life easily carries through several days between charges. It provides seamless, low-friction wellness tracking.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose this ring because it packs so much in such a small body. And it comes without a subscription model. What else can one ask for in a smart ring? Battery. It is the only reason for a 3 star. I do understand though that it's tricky to handle the battery situation in such a tiny body. I hope the next generation would have less battery problems and this device will become a no brainer. Even if the battery life remains the same, the battery degradation needs to be fixed which seems to happen quite fast (within 10 months of use) which makes it difficult to recommend.
