The ring was fantastic when I first got it. It did everything I wanted it to do and then some. I love being able to take a picture from my ring. However, the battery were down fast and imagine this just in time for it to be out of warranty. So now I'm stuck with just this hunk of metal that does nothing. Make the battery better!

Salutations Wendy,
Thank you for sharing your feedback with us about your experience using the Samsung Galaxy Ring. Your sentiments provide valuable insights that will assist us with improving our product line to better align with the needs of our customers. As you know, Samsung provides a 12-month warranty on your device for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. Did you know that we also offer Samsung Care+ which is similar to an extended warranty and an insurance package combined? Amazing, right? It can provide protection beyond the standard manufacturer's warranty. It could cover events like accidental damage, mechanical breakdowns, and potentially theft and loss. Samsung Care+ truly offers you the ultimate peace of mind when it comes to protecting your investment. Our partners at UbreakIfix are also available to assist you with any repair needs you may have. We understand how frustrated you may feel to have a device that may not be performing up to expectations. On a single charge, the Galaxy Ring is able to last up to 7 days, depending on usage. Battery life may be extended by up to 30% if worn alongside a Galaxy Watch, as this helps reduce redundant feature usage. For optimal battery performance, it's recommended to store the Ring in its charging case when not in use. If left outside the case, the Ring's sensors will remain active, resulting in unnecessary battery consumption. Battery life for your Galaxy Ring can vary depending on environmental factors like temperature, network environment, and signal strength can all affect battery life. Also, usage patterns: frequent use of features like sleep tracking, work auto detection, and gesture controls can impact how long the battery lasts. If you would like further assistance after reviewing the resources linked below, please feel free to reach out to Samsung Support at your leisure. Thank you for being a loyal Samsung customer.

Thought it was great at first!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ring was pretty cool in the beginning, but everything had to be done from your Galaxy phone. No real notifications, no prompts, color faded and stop working and wouldn't charge within the first year.

Hello Ish1178,
Thank you for sharing your sentiments with us regarding your experience using the Samsung Galaxy Ring. Your critiques provide valuable insights that assist us with improving our product line to better suit the needs of our customers. Samsung provides a 12-month warranty on your device for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. We also offer Samsung Care+ which is similar to an extended warranty and an insurance package combined. It can provide protection beyond the standard manufacturer's warranty. It could cover events like accidental damage, mechanical breakdowns, and potentially theft and loss. The Galaxy Ring acts as a passive, screen-free health and sleep tracker worn on your finger, capturing raw biometric and movement data. Its paired Galaxy phone serves as the powerhouse processor with running the Samsung Health app, applying Galaxy AI for analytical insights, and executing device controls. The device houses the physical sensors to track your steps, continuous heart rate, sleep stages, and nighttime skin temperature. However, the ring itself cannot display or process this. The paired phone takes that raw Bluetooth data and crunches it via the Samsung Health app to produce actionable metrics like your daily "Energy Score". It also carries onboard memory to cache a few days of health data. You can go for a run or sleep without the phone nearby, and the ring will locally record your steps and workout metrics. Once reconnected via Bluetooth, it dumps that data to the phone. However, live activity tracking (like pacing or GPS maps) strictly relies on the phone. If you would like further assistance after reviewing the resources shared below, please feel free to contact Samsung Support at your earliest convenience. Thank you for being a loyal Samsung customer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ring is perfect for all day health tracking. The comfortable wearing on both my ring and middle finger made wear fatigue no problem. He battery life is amazing, unfortunately the battery tends to degrade after a long time.

Best galaxy ring
on June 3, 2026
Posted by: Smash123
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you're asking why the Samsung Galaxy Ring is considered one of the best smart rings, it's because Samsung focused on a few things that smart-ring users care about most:
1. Excellent sleep and health tracking
The Galaxy Ring continuously tracks sleep, heart rate, activity, and skin temperature. Many reviewers praise its sleep-tracking accuracy and recovery insights, making it useful for people who want health data without wearing a watch all night.
SmartRingWear +1
2. Comfortable and lightweight design
Samsung uses a titanium body that is lightweight and durable. Many users report that they forget they're wearing it after a few hours, which is important for 24/7 tracking.
Gadget Radar +2
3. No monthly subscription
Unlike some competitors such as Oura, Samsung provides its health insights without requiring a recurring subscription fee. This lowers the long-term cost of ownership.
Gadget Radar +2
4. Strong battery life
Samsung advertises up to about a week of battery life, and reviewers generally find the battery life to be among the better options in the smart-ring category.
SmartRingWear +2
5. Great for Samsung phone users
The ring integrates deeply with Samsung Health and Galaxy phones. Features such as AI-powered wellness insights and gesture controls work especially well within the Samsung ecosystem.
TechRadar +2
Things to keep in mind
It's not perfect:
Some reviewers still consider the Oura Ring stronger for advanced health insights and cross-platform support.

Hi there Ricco7,
Thanks for taking the time to reach out and share your thoughts with us about your experience using the Samsung Galaxy Ring. Your candor allows us to continue to strive in providing the best products with superior functionality on the market to our customers. Samsung provides a 12-month warranty on our products for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. We also offer Samsung Care+ that is similar to extended warranty and an insurance package combined that provides protection beyond the standard manufacturer's warranty. It would cover events like accidental damage, mechanical breakdowns, and potentially theft and loss. Samsung Care+ offers you that peace of mind when added to your eligible devices (Phones, Tablets, Watches, Buds, Rings & PCs). Our partners at UbreakIfix are also available to assist you with any repair needs you may have. While the Galaxy Ring is designed to be durable, it's not impervious to damage from abrasive materials. Feel free to check out, "Keep your Galaxy Ring clean" to help ensure your Galaxy Ring works correctly and maintains its appearance. When it comes to charging your Galaxy Ring, you have three options: USB-C charging, charging wirelessly, and charging with Wireless PowerShare. Each of these methods requires using the Galaxy Ring case that came with your ring. Each ring's case is specific to its ring. The Galaxy Ring should be fully charged before using it for the first time. If the battery is completely drained, it may need to be charged for at least ten minutes before it can be used. No matter which charging method you use, you must charge the Galaxy Ring in the case that came with it. Please take a moment to check out, "How to charge the Galaxy Ring" to help resolve what you have described to be experiencing with your Galaxy Ring battery. With the Galaxy Ring, you're able to slip your device on and forget it with a seven-day charge that won’t slow you down. Combined with a full cradle charge, you can use Galaxy Ring for up to 14 days without plugging into an outlet. Please feel free to review, "Galaxy Ring won't charge" to help resolve what you may be experiencing with your device. Horrible Battery Problems
on May 29, 2026
Posted by: Kevn
Had a Samsung ring that lasted a little over a year before experiencing dramatic battery decline. Service options were limited and expensive. Went through all the troubleshooting questions/process multiple times. Finally decided to move away from the Samsung Ring to Oura.
There has been a lot of negative feedback in a lot of reviews on this ring, so Samsung should admit it has a high fail rate and develop a fix - simply repeating Samsung Care is available and the 1 year warranty does NOTHING to solve the problem. For a known issue like dramatic battery decline, rings should be swapped out without charge.
