I really liked my Samsung Ring while it worked. It was comfortable enough to wear all day and night, and it did an excellent job tracking my health and activity stats. The battery life was also great during the warranty period.
Unfortunately, as soon as the warranty expired, the battery suddenly degraded and now won't hold a charge for more than an hour, making the ring essentially unusable. I was disappointed that Samsung wants to charge me for a repair on a premium device that failed so soon after the warranty ended. Now, it's an expensive paper weight and will cost half its worth to get the battery repaired.
It's a great product when it's working, but the long-term reliability and post-warranty support leave a lot to be desired.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello TiptonD, Thanks for reaching out to share your thoughts with us about your experience using the Samsung Galaxy Ring. Your constructive feedback allows us to continue making improvements on our product line, based on consumer feedback. Samsung provides a 12-month warranty on your device for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. We also offer Samsung Care+ which is similar to an extended warranty and an insurance package combined. It can provide protection beyond the standard manufacturer's warranty. It could cover events like accidental damage, mechanical breakdowns, and potentially theft and loss. Samsung Care+ truly offers you the ultimate peace of mind when it comes to protecting your investment. Our partners at UbreakIfix are also available to assist you with any repair needs you may have. On a single charge, the Galaxy Ring can last up to 7 days, depending on usage. Battery life may be extended by up to 30% if worn alongside a Galaxy Watch, as this helps reduce redundant feature usage. For optimal battery performance, it's recommended to store the Ring in its charging case when not in use. If left outside the case, the Ring's sensors will remain active, resulting in unnecessary battery consumption. Battery life for your Galaxy Ring can vary depending on environmental factors like temperature, network environment, and signal strength can all affect battery life. Also, usage patterns: frequent use of features like sleep tracking, work auto detection, and gesture controls can impact how long the battery lasts. To prevent damage to your device, avoid wearing other metal rings on the same or adjacent fingers, and remove the ring when handling heavy, hard, or abrasive objects. If you would like to share additional feedback with us or if you would like further assistance after reviewing the resources shared below, please feel free to contact Samsung Support at your leisure. Thank you for being a faithful customer. - Debra

I am experiencing a recurring issue with the battery life of my device, as this is the second unit I've owned that exhibits the same problem. The battery performance is severely degraded, to the extent that it cannot sustain operation through a single night. Unfortunately, Samsung has not provided a resolution for this matter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since I've gotten the ring its helped me keep track of my sleep, and blood pressure. It's cool to see what happens to your body through out the day! The battery life is excellent and dont even notice its on my finger half the time. It's a great product and I recommend it!
Battery only lasts as long as the warranty it seems, required to pay extra (Samsung care) for extended warranty... because the company is betting on it failing, and wants to still make money off of it.
Also, the silver is a matte finish, so it looks like plastic.
Ive used nothing but Samsung devices for over 10 years. Never had issue until now.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing is worthless I'm not even motivated to get it fixed or replaced because the sensors are bad compared to other health sensors for example the Galaxy watch is way better for sleep

I like this ring alot. Purchased March 21 2025, it now has an issue with the battery. As I am reading these reviews I have seen several people with the same issue. Now they want 129.9 to fix it. Think ill be leaving samsung now and trying to find a new manufacturer. Pretty sad about this seeing as my phone, tablet, watch, and all 3 tvs are all samsung. I am very disappointed with this battery issue and cost.

I bought this to go with my galaxy watch and I'm very disappointed in the look of the ring. Honestly, could be a tin foil ring.

Hi there Unknown, Thanks for reaching out to share your thoughts with us regarding your experience using the Samsung Galaxy Ring. We value your sentiments as we continue to innovate while making improvements on our product line to suit your needs. The Galaxy Ring features a premium, lightweight titanium exterior with a concave design that tapers inward. It is highly durable, boasting an IP68 dust/water rating and a 10 ATM pressure rating. We have a few tips in regard to keeping your Galaxy Ring in its original pristine condition: * Clean the inner sensors at least once a week to prevent foreign materials from blocking biometric detection. * Use a soft, lint-free cloth. If exposed to lotions, sunscreens, or sweat, rinse with fresh water and a mild, soap-free detergent, then dry thoroughly before wearing. * Never use external heat sources (like a hairdryer), ultrasonic cleaners, abrasive materials, or compressed air, as these permanently damage the sensors and water seals. * Shield the ring from dust, ink, oil, insect sprays, and cosmetics. Take it off when applying heavy hand creams or sanitizers to prevent skin irritation and sensor buildup. * Remove the ring during heavy lifting or strength training. Pressure on the band can cause scratches, dents, or discomfort on your finger. * While the Galaxy Ring has an IP68 dust/water resistance rating, make sure to avoid high-speed water sports, scuba diving, or wearing it in saunas and steam rooms to preserve the pressure seals. Check out the resources shared below if you would like to learn more. If you would like to share any other feedback with us or if you would like further assistance, please feel free to reach out to Samsung Support. Thanks for being a staunch Samsung customer. - Debra

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have some rather sensitive ears and ear buds have never really been an option until these. They fit comfortably and stay put. I don't get any irritation using them. The sound is crisp and clear. The noise canceling feature has saved my Bible studies in the morning as that's when my robot vacuum does it job in the house. Charging is simple and easy as well. I love the wireless feature but rarely need to use it. Only complaint would be the case loses it juice a bit too fast. Overall, awesome buds and very great product.
