[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the seamless connection with my phone. Unfortunately I had to get a replacement after the battery failed on my original ring. I wish it would have better options on monitoring HR as I have a medical condition that requires constant HR tracking. But overall it's a decent ring

Greetings Toonie, Thank you for sharing your feedback with us regarding your experience using the Samsung Galaxy Ring. The Galaxy Ring uses optical sensors pressed against your finger to monitor blood flow, tracking your heart rate both continuously throughout the day and on-demand. The ring automatically and continuously checks your heart rate throughout the day, logging your resting heart rate and active heart rate during workouts. You can trigger an instant measurement anytime using the Samsung Wearables App and tap "Measure". Feel free to check out the resources shared below to learn more about the features of your device. Let us know if you have any questions or if you'd like further assistance afterward by contacting Samsung Support. Thanks for choosing Samsung! - Debra

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The galaxy ring was bought for HR monitoring, but has allowed me to follow many other health areas. I love the sleep feature on it. It has been wonderfully easy to use. The only issued I have ran into is my battery is not lasting 6 days anymore if not just 4 days, therefore I give it 4 stars.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As my 3rd Galaxy watch, this one is by far my favorite. Fast and responsive. Does everything I ask and then some.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Idk how galaxy AI works with this but I like all the information. Great integration with Samsung health.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought the ring to monitor my horrible sleep. Works fantastic. Maybe ch less bulkier than wearing my Galaxy Watch Ultra to bed. Very accurate tracking all health aspects
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect for those who have a chronic illness like myself! Easily keeps track of your energy/stress levels, gives quality information on your sleep quality. Most importantly it does everything other brands offer WITHOUT the monthly subscription and as a mom who gets charged another monthly fee every time she breathes I can appreciate that! The Galaxy AI features are fun to play with as well. It helps me keep track of how much exercise I have been getting and I only have to charge it once a week unlike a smart band. I absolutely love it!
I traded in my Oura ring for the Galaxy Ring in February 2025. I wanted to avoid Oura's monthly subscription so I thought this ring would be of good value. The ability to use the ring as a remote camera shutter is also an added plus.
Right away, I noticed the Samsung app and health insights were mediocre and far less polished compared to Oura. I was willing to accept that trade-off for a subscription-free experience.
Initially, the battery lasted nearly a week with regular use (sleep tracking, running 1-2x a week). However, just past the 1-year mark, the battery degraded. It now completely dies within 2 to 3 days.
When I contacted Samsung Support hoping for a repair solution, they responded promptly but offered absolutely nothing. I was told the 1-year warranty had expired and there was nothing else they could do... no repair, no battery replacement, no service recovery.
I purchased this ring assuming it would have at least a 3-year lifespan- making it a better value than paying for the Oura subscription. I was wrong.
If you are okay with a less refined app, basic health tracking, and a battery that may become practically useless right after the warranty expires with zero support from Samsung, this ring is for you. Otherwise, it is absolutely not worth the money.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Howdy Cindy, Thanks for sharing your feedback with us about your experience using the Samsung Galaxy Ring. Your sentiments are invaluable to us as we continue to innovate while improving our product line to align with the needs of our customer base. As you know, Samsung provides a 12-month warranty on your device for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. We also offer Samsung Care+ which is similar to an extended warranty and an insurance package combined. It can provide protection beyond the standard manufacturer's warranty. It could cover events like accidental damage, mechanical breakdowns, and potentially theft and loss. Samsung Care+ truly offers you the ultimate peace of mind when it comes to protecting your investment. Our partners at UbreakIfix are also available to assist you with any repair needs you may have. We realize how frustrated you may feel to have a device that may not be performing up to expectations. On a single charge, the Galaxy Ring can last up to 7 days, depending on usage. Battery life may be extended by up to 30% if worn alongside a Galaxy Watch, as this helps reduce redundant feature usage. For optimal battery performance, it's recommended to store the Ring in its charging case when not in use. If left outside the case, the Ring's sensors will remain active, resulting in unnecessary battery consumption. Battery life for your Galaxy Ring can vary depending on environmental factors like temperature, network environment, and signal strength can all affect battery life. Also, usage patterns: frequent use of features like sleep tracking, work auto detection, and gesture controls can impact how long the battery lasts. If you would like further assistance after checking out the resources shared below, please feel free to reach out to Samsung Support at your leisure. Thank you for being a valued Samsung customer. - Debra
