Hi there John, Thank you for sharing your feedback with us regarding your experience using the Samsung Galaxy Ring. We value your insights as we make improvements on our product line to align with the needs of our customer base. To quickly resolve an unresponsive Galaxy Ring, please place your device inside its charging case, then press and hold the case's multipurpose button for more than 7 seconds to reboot your device. Here's a few additional steps that may help get your Galaxy Ring functioning as intended: Skin oil and debris can block the copper charging contacts. Please wipe the inside of the ring and the charging case with a clean, dry cloth. Next, make sure that the the small bump on the outer band aligns with the orange marker on the inside of the charging case. Then, connect your charging case to a power source with the ring placed inside and allow both to charge fully. Also, keep in mind that Samsung provides a 12-month warranty on your device for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. We also offers Samsung Care+ which is similar to an extended warranty and an insurance package combined. Our partners at UbreakIfix are also available to assist you with any repair needs you may have. For your convenience, I have shared some resources below for your review. Please take a moment to check those out and let us know if you would like any further assistance afterward by contacting Samsung Support. We're happy to assist you in every way possible. Thank you for choosing Samsung! - Debra

Ring was not durable. After a software update within a year the ring's battery didn't even last a day. It wasn't even wearable as part of the sensor was detaching from the inside and rubbing my finger raw. It didn't last a year.

Howdy Nate, Thank you for sharing your feedback with us about your experience using the Samsung Galaxy Ring. Your critiques provide valuable insights that will assist us with improving our product line. Samsung provides a 12-month warranty on your device for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. We also offer Samsung Care+ which is similar to an extended warranty and an insurance package combined. It can provide protection beyond the standard manufacturer's warranty. It could cover events like accidental damage, mechanical breakdowns, and potentially theft and loss. Samsung Care+ truly offers you the ultimate peace of mind when it comes to protecting your investment. Our partners at UbreakIfix are also available to assist you with any repair needs you may have. On a single charge, the Galaxy Ring can last up to 7 days, depending on usage. Battery life may be extended by up to 30% if worn alongside a Galaxy Watch, as this helps reduce redundant feature usage. For optimal battery performance, it's recommended to store the Ring in its charging case when not in use. If left outside the case, the Ring's sensors will remain active, resulting in unnecessary battery consumption. Battery life for your Galaxy Ring can vary depending on environmental factors like temperature, network environment, and signal strength can all affect battery life. Also, usage patterns: frequent use of features like sleep tracking, work auto detection, and gesture controls can impact how long the battery lasts. We understand how frustrated you may feel to have your device not looking as pristine as it once did at the time of your unboxing. Here's a few precautions: Prevent the ring from being exposed to dust, sweat, ink, oil, and chemical products such as cosmetics, antibacterial sprays, hand cleaners, detergents, and insecticides. The ring’s exterior and interior may become damaged, which may result in poor performance. If the ring is exposed to any of these substances, clean it using a soft, lint-free cloth. Never use external heat sources, ultrasonic waves, soap, cleaning agents, abrasive materials, or compressed air to clean the ring. Doing so may damage the ring. Feel free to take a look at, "Keep your Galaxy Ring clean" if you would like to learn more. If you would like further assistance after reviewing the resources shared below, please feel free to reach out to Samsung Support at your earliest convenience. Thank you for being a loyal Samsung customer. - Debra

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the ring. It does everything I need it to do. It's a lot easier to sleep in the ring than it is in the watch. The only thing is remembering to put my watch on in the morning. Sometimes I wear both and I'm sure they have their own way of splitting up what they do.
Es very well make in still better than any other smart ring on the market in wish Samsung upgrades is even more better quality that you can not find in any other smart ring because Samsung make sure to used upgrades to stack blood pressure high stress levels low oxygen levels alert Samsung is coming back in better i tell everyone about Garmin watches are garbage i got one in i make into a Samsung device because Samsung is in all ways will be on top
I purchased the ring for a couple of different reasons. The first is that I find it uncomfortable to wear my smartwatch at night to track my sleep, so this ring was able to fill that gap for me. When I first got it I wore it along with my watch to see how good the tracking worked and it was pretty close to my fitness tracker in my watch. So that earns it a check in my book.
The second reason I purchased it was because I carry two phones and have 2 different ecosystems. Monday through Friday, I have a competitor watch and phone due to the requirements of my job. On the weekends, I wear my galaxy watch. However, I carry both phones almost all the time. I wanted to have my health data to be consistent, so I picked up the ring so I'm not wearing two watches at the same time. The ring has allowed me to keep my health track consistent day to day.
The 3rd reason was to replace the Bluetooth functionality we lost in the s pen in the ultra models. Admittedly, it's a fairly minor reason but it was a justification for me nonetheless.
The ring worked great up until about 2 months ago. I noticed the battery seemed to run out much faster than I anticipated. Then I started having issues with it not staying connected to my phone. Now it takes an act of God just to get it to charge on a regular basis. The case can be completely charged but then it won't charge the ring for some reason. Ive tried several different solutions that I found on the forums but nothing seems to work for more than a week or two.
Im not saying its a complete dud, but I probably waited until a gen 2 version so that they could work out the kinks. For the price they charge, it's not a good purchase, in my opinion. After a year, It still looks pretty good, its light weight, and works well when it wants to, the problem is that I'm never sure when it wants to work. I will take it off the charger after an hour or two, then it may not connect to my phone, or the battery may die halfway through the day. Its too finicky for me, i don't want to have to think about it every time I put it on, I just want it to work.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When the ring first came out I was one of the first in line. Since having it, I have retired from the military and started worlds travel. I love the Watch Ultra, by but since I'm retired I don't care what time it is lol. So the ring still gets all my stats and you're able to see it all in the app. You can keep track of your sleep without wearing the watch.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved my ring when I first got it. Then a few months ago the battery life when from nearly a week to a couple days. Then a few weeks ago it won't last a day, not even 8 hours overnight. I can NOT recommend this and I absolutely LOVE all the Samsung phones and tablets I've had and still have. I also bought an extra ring charger last year and that second one now doesn't hold much of a charge.
