Extremely Disappointing Product

I purchased this case in store, put the case on and within an hour I already started to notice a plethora of micro scratches on the back. At first glance I really liked this phone cover It’s crystal clear, as the name states, it’s minimal, seems fit to withstand a decent drop. The aesthetics and in hand feel is great HOWEVER, just after an hour of use it looks terrible.
Tried to deal with Tech 21 customer service on line and it was really non-existent from a service prospective, they say it's my fault for damaging the cover by sliding it in and out of my pocket and scratching it, what am I supposed to do with my phone.....
All of their advertising and web postings show the case is scratch resistant, this is completely false and not the finish you would want or expect from a product of this price range.
I have tried to contact them a couple more times but Tech 21 just ignore.
1 star is for fit and feel only.

Exactly what I expected from Tech21

This is my 3rd iPhone case from this company (Tech21). 1st iPhone 5, then 6S, now my new XS. Corner falls taken like a champ on the i5 case, never really dropped the 6S. Though reselling it proved easy being it was such great condition from being in a functional case (functional being low profile and protects the phone). This case isn’t scratching my phone up, how does that even happen? Anywho, I wasn’t sure about a fully transparent phone case, but I quickly got to like it, as it is a rather nice phone. Not enough selection of this brand, wish there more than one to choose from. Bad Best Buy!! ;)

Doesnt protect your phone!

Bought a tech 21 clear phone case as i wanted something that wasnt bulky like the otter. The phone case is prone to falling - no grip and therefore fell more often then my previous phones and this time it was damaged. Dont waste your money paying paying for phone repairs. Its worth it to spend a little more on an otter case and to dodge the hundreds you will to fix your phone.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
