Finally a Dryer with OPTIONS!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the fact that this dryer gives me more than the standard options. I can change my mind on the settings during any cycle and reduce the drying time, prevent wrinkles...It is energy efficient and easy to use...everything to love about it!

Just can't stop admiring this dryer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I saw the nice press to open clear door in a showroom long before I was shopping for our remodel home appliances. After yanking on different rigid doors on different washers and dryers where we rented during the remodeling, this feature started to have more appeal. Then I researched more about the Electrolux flagship machines with steam and became more interested. Likely, Electrolux also manufactured the Frigidaire Affinity machines we enjoy at our other apartment. I installed this dryer and the matching washer in our upstairs walk in closet, with both units on the matching optional pedestals. This is much more ergonomic than stacked like our apartment. If you have the floor space, do the pedestals! They have nice matching push to open drawers that can hold all your detergents and bleaches nicely, and keep these off of floors and shelves, for a net space and corrosion savings. These are really beautiful machines to look at and use. The interface is elegant, with easy options to choose from, and pleasant chimes rather than harsh buzzers for sounds, unlike other annoying machines. It is almost fun to do the laundry now! The interiors have the option to turn on lights, and it is almost embarrassing how long we sat and stared at laundry spinning around in the washer and dryer the first time we ran loads through these! I regret I have not yet run the available steam cycle on this dryer to comment on. The dryer is efficient and runs comparatively quietly. I have not operated a more elegant and ergonomic dryer than this, and am very pleased that we went with the high end product. It will be difficult to ever go back to the rattle and clank and ugly of all the other machines I've ever seen or used.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently had to replace my dryer and did a lot of research before deciding on Electrolux. The reviews lead me to believe this dryer must be too good to be true, but after experiencing it's performance for myself, I have to sing it's praises, too. It's dries so quickly and so well. I love the perfect steam feature - no more tossing a wet item in with wrinkled clothes, hoping that will produce something wearable. And since I also bought the matching washer, I can honestly say I have cut laundry time down almost in half. These machines are truly efficient!

Best Dryer I've ever owned

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was having problems with larger loads on my last large capacity Dryer from another manufacturer & would have to dry loads 2 & 3 times. No matter how large the load things are bone dry after the first time & ive even seen my electric bill drop. Would defiantly recommend this & so far has been trouble free.

Front loading dryer

Avoid this dryer

I've owned this dryer since MAy 2014 and have had major issues with it. Within a few months, it had to be serviced 3 different times. The repair techs told me that the parts are incredibly cheap - weak plastic, breaking all of the time. After repeated service visits, the machine is having more issues. It's leaking water, water is building up in the display and it's not drying clothes. Fixing it will cost half the price of a new machine. I'd advise avoiding this dryer at all costs!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
