I have purchased this dryer wit the matching washer. I love everything about them except the dryer barely closes. It doesnt take much to open or close the door. Im afraid that if the clothes in the dryer hit the door that it will open on its own.

Electrox Lux Washer and Dryer

These units are very cost efficient. I have had these units for over a year and can see a decrease in both water and electricity use. The washer does an excellent job in cleaning the clothes and the dryer doesn’t need dryer clothes. In addition, these units have an exceptional large opening to easily put in and take out clothes. I would recommend these units to other.

This dryer has more cycles than you are ever likely to use. That does not mean that the cycles are superfluous --- your favorite cycle is someone else's unnecessary addition. It is nice to have such flexibility and control.

I think I may have purchased a Lemon!

Thank goodness we purchased an extended warranty...2 repairs within 1 year. First, there are two drying elements inside a cylindrical housing...housing was undamaged but one of the heating elements was crushed. This obviously was done during manufacturing. Next, Moisture/Heating sensor in the back of the dryer is attached by a screw on one side and what looks to be a plastic clip on the other. Plastic end has broken and pulled away from the side wall. Parts will need to be ordered and my family is without a dryer once again! We paid a great deal of money for a cheaply made product. Thanks Electrolux :(

You dont buy a washer and dryer every year, of course no. Then, buying these appliances is a serious family matter. You want to stay in a "budget" and then realize that in your initial budget there is few ok options. But, then the great options start drilling your mind. If you buy a washer and dryer you are probably also a homeowner and that definitely weighs in favor of these magnificent pieces created by Electrolux. You will appreciate the high efficiency water consumption, the minimal impact in your electric bill and what is more important, the excellent results in having clean, smooth, and impeccable whites and color clothes. I know that nothing is forever, but i seriously wish, they would last an eternity. Go for quality, for excellence and technology, go for Electrolux.
