Fantastic for a casual cook

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently bought this set as my first, starter knife block out of college. The block and knives look exactly as advertised and have helped me cut fruits, vegetables, and meat with ease and precision. I am nervous about the micro serrated knife edges meaning that I can't sharpen the knives and that they'll therefore be dull one day, but with my volume of use, it'll take years to reach that point. Not meant to be someone's forever knives - but for a few years or for a starter cook, they'll be great.
