Nice set with serrated blades

I bought this set to replace my old 12 pc Henckel set that I've been using for 10 years or more. This new set has serrated blades vs. straight and I read a review stating the blade doesn't cut straight -- so I tried it and indeed, you have to adjust your technique to cut at an angle to get even slices. This is easier with the larger knives where you can chop. The handle material is smoother and bulkier than my old set. Overall, the block and look is very nice and fits with my kitchen. I think it will take some adjustment though to use the serrated blades.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
