Powerhouse all arounder

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I took these as my only sound device for a three week trip that included working out, urban, beach, and mountain (hiking) time. They held up for just about everything I could ask for and were very comfortable to boot.
Audio quality is clear, and once I got a snug ear canal fit, I could really hear the full range of bass and treble. I stuck with the default ear tips.
Noise cancellation is very good for earbuds - I estimate 60% of airplane noise was eliminated. Noise cancellation was not very effective when biking at high speeds or into the wind, but that is consistent with every other pair of NC earbuds I have used.
Battery life was a little inconsistent but still satisfactory overall; I ate through a full charge on a 5 hour flight but then still had over 50% left on a subsequent 5 hour flight.
Charging is the only area I have a minor quibble with. The buds' position in the charging case seems to be rather finicky. There were several times I placed them inside and one side didn't charge. As far as I can tell the charging light doesn't indicate whether one or both buds are charging.

This is the single worst pair of buds I have ever owned. If it looks like your about to put just a block of plastic in your ear, it’s because you are. Get ready for some ear expansion. A single bead of sweat will cause these to completely lose any volume they might have, which paired with the fact jbl’s philosophy seems to be “more bass, more bass, more bass,” these make for a terrible listening experience while doing any type of work.

Exactly what I was looking for

I was looking for earbuds that would stay secure during runs and other workouts, and these sure so. The active noise cancellation isn't the most powerful/effective, but I don't need it to be.

Great bass and stereo field

Bought these to replace my JBL reflect earbuds from 2017. These are an amazing improvement. Much more bass and the stereo field is incredible. I can very clearly hear instruments panned either left or right in the songs mix. Only downside is the fit. My right ear is slightly different than my left and doesn’t quite fit perfectly even though I’ve tried multiple combinations on the earbud parts. Other than that a great upgrade and amazing sound signature.

Need smaller earbud tips

Everything is great so far, except one of my already small ears is smaller than the other, and the smallest earbud still doesn't work. Please manufacture (and sell) extra small earbud tips.

My favorite headphones, period.

I own and have owned many many headphones, including earbuds and over the ear. This is my second pair of these earbuds, after I list my first pair. They fit and feel great and sound amazing. They are durable, surviving many drops, and the waterproofing doesn't hurt either. Nose cancellation works very well. Controls are simple and intuitive. Sound quality and bass are on par with my best full sized over ear headphones. They last forever with the rechargable charging case always at hand. Get them!

I just can not make them stay in my ear, so unhappy given the money I paid. This is maybe only for the men, or people who have bigger ear area. I can only use them sitting and that is it, definitely not for a run or my workouts.

We appreciate you taking the time to provide us with your feedback. For your JBL Reflect Aero TWS to provide the best seal and secure fit, you must create a tight seal within your ear canal. In order to do this, angle the ear tip slightly downward to make it easier to insert into your ear canal, gently twist the earbud to fit it securely into the shape of your ear, and continue twisting the earbud into your ear canal. Very Handy

Really enjolying my new earbuds - the noise cancelling is great. However, they are a little too large for my ears and keep falling out, even though I've swapped buds/wings. I had to get a pair of earrings that clip on to earbuds to keep from losing them.
