[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very pleased with the ease of both the assembly of the vacuum and dust cap cleaning. I was also delighted that it came in my favorite color, purple. What I was not pleased with was wearing the color on the palm of my right hand after the first use. When I called Bissell and discussed the issue with their representative, they suggested that it might be my body chemistry interacting with the painted handle. I offered that I would try the vacuum again, wearing a rubber glove. The color came off on the glove. I have another Bissell of the same type and it's color stays put. Go figure!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The featherweight vacuum is great! I have been using it to vacuum my kitchen and it works awesome! I have 2 german shepherds that shed like crazy and it sucks up the hair no problem. Its great for stairs as well!

My 90 yr old mother bought this because she hates lugging around the canister vacuum and this is perfect. Once I tried it I am sold and am planning to by one for myself!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Its is great for hard floors and industrial/commercial carpet (tight weave, low pile). Picks up cat litter well. I keep it plugged into an extension cord so it is always ready to go. Comes with a crevice tool. Picks up so good filter is always covered with dust. This is my second purchase, now I will use the older one just for guinea pig waste pick up in the cage.
