Best dishwasher we have ever had

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Being almost 80 years old, we have gone through many, many dishwashers. We are just tickled with this Bosch- our first one! Love everything about it- the third rack for silverware is genius. Love how clean and shiny the dishes and glassware come out. The door closes beautifully, the racks are designed perfectly and it is so quiet you can't even hear it running. No doubt about it, Bosch is THE best dishwasher on the market.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Disappointing Decline in Bosch Quality & Function

This is our third Bosch dishwasher, and likely our last. It cleans really well - probably better than previous ones, especially as it gets dishes drier than before. And we love the quietness, which is why we're repeat customers. It does what it's supposed to really well.
But, the first issue is how much of the functionality must be accessed through the app. Want a rinse cycle? Need to use the app? Do the "machine care" cycle? App again. Want to delay the start . . . now you need the app. But the app keeps getting worse and losing functionality, and has bad UI. What happened to including a couple more buttons?
Next, Bosch still hasn't fixed the door rope issue from the previous version of this model - the reason we had to replace it. The ropes that are attached to springs to have the door open and close smoothly and without effort broke within two years. This is a product that should work 10+ years, but Bosch can't make these ropes last. Basic design flaw for it to still be happening.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great capacity and quiet performance
