So far, great

I have only had this washer about 18hs now and only washed one load but it did a great job. During its first wash, about 10 min in the washer started making a loud vibrating/grinding sound (like a pump was vibrating) but it quieted down after several minutes. I won't know if it was just a start up issue (air in the pump, etc.) until I do my next load so I am reserving one star for this reason only. As far as cleaning the clothes (which after all is the washers purpose) it did a fantastic job. I previously had an LG front load steam washer that did an OK job at cleaning for 14 years but when spinning often just went horribly out of balance. This washer did a fantastic job of staying in balace. I love the pod dispenser. My only suggestion to the design team is the alert for wash completion could be louder. It is hard to hear from the laundry room but this is a very minor issue. I have high hopes for this washer and it's mating dryer.

After comparing washing machines for 3 months, I finally decided on this one. I couldn’t be happier. It has enough settings to allow for any type of laundry and it is beautiful

Washer Dryer Beautiful Color

1st thing that catches your eyes is the color of the set ... not the usual color... beautiful light blue metallic ...not the typical white or black ... it's a color that is rich looking but classy and will not go out of style ...

This washer has all of what we need and nothing of what we don’t. It took a little bit to figure out the delay setting. Other than that. Pretty straightforward operation. Love the blue color. Stunning piece in our laundry

Like my washer, my 18 year old Kenmore dryer no longer had parts available and was beginning to malfunction. With all the complaints circulating about poor quality washers and dryers I hesitated to buy a new set. After careful research, I chose the Electrolux 400 series. I wanted something simple to operate but would meet my needs. This was definitely the right choice! No one in the area had any Electrolux on display, so I had to really “trust” and purchase sight unseen. I must say, I am impressed. The quality is definitely noticeable and the glacier blue color is gorgeous. Please consider adding a light to this dryer. I did call Electrolux prior to my purchase and was told yes there is a light in this dryer, but no there is not. Like the washer, the settings can be mixed and matched which makes them extremely versatile. Great choice!

A Dependable Dryer!

This dryer replaces the dryer I purchased from Electrolux approximately 11 years ago. I had to replace my appliances after Super Storm Sandy. It came highly recommended and it sure lived up to its reputation. Any appliance that lasts 11 years in this day and age deserves a gold star!!! I would recommend Electrolux to everyone!
