I bought this clothes washer in Jan. and the last spin cycle does not stop. I was talking to your support (Eric) and was disconnected. Very frustrating.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Washer

Is a good washer. Just wish it was a little quieter.
Response from manufacturerBy DonHaier_AppliancesApril 2, 2026
We love that this washer comes equipped with a powerful heavy-duty agitator! A heavy-duty agitator provides a better turnover for bulky items and a thorough cleaning for larger loads while still offering a gentle touch for delicate items. We’d like to assist with your new washer’s sound level. It’s extremely important that the washer is properly leveled and all 4 leveling legs are firmly on an even floor space. This will help to ensure a quieter operation.
Additionally, it’s important that the tub is loaded evenly, with the weight of the load equally distributed. Unbalanced loads can cause increased vibration, and therefore, cause the washer to move and/or be louder than normal.

WASHING IS JUST FINE. WATER SETTING COULD BE BETTER
Response from manufacturerBy DonHaier_AppliancesApril 2, 2026
We love that this washer comes with a stainless steel basket that ensures both your appliance and your clothes are protected from rust, chips, peeling or snags. We'd like to provide some information on the water level control. With the water level control, you can manually add up to 26 gallons of water to your washer, or let the washer optimize with auto-fill for great cleaning results no matter the cycle selected. You can find instructions on using the water level control on pg. 8 of the owner's manual here: https://products-salsify.geappliances.com/image/upload/s--esnlivKk--/o60hz6zrissnlkutq8qc.pdf.

Defective Equipment

Doesn’t fill all the way up. First day using it and I’m having issues already.
Response from manufacturerBy TierraHaier_AppliancesMarch 9, 2026
We'd like to assist with your washer not filling up all the way. Keep in mind that water may not cover the top level of the clothes. This is normal for this high efficiency washer.

Firstly, make sure the washer is plugged in securely. The washer should be on a separate, dedicated outlet. If the washer was stored where temperatures are below freezing, water in the pump can freeze and lock the motor. Allow time for thawing and the unit will start. If the issue persists, please schedule a service appointment with a Bodewell technician by calling 833-426-3393 or schedule online at https://www.bodewell.com/schedule-repair-service

Hate hi-efficiency
on March 5, 2026
Posted by: cat4
I hate high efficiency! I knew I would because everyone says it's such a nuisance, but it happened to be the cheapest one and I needed to act fast. I don't like all the electronics; I'd much rather just turn the knob to desired setting, like I always have. I don't like how it won't run unless lid is shut and you can't open it during wash cycle to put something else in. I also dye my own fabrics alot, and have no control over turning it on another hot-water cycle to complete dye project; I want to determine how much water I put in; everything is under the control of electronics, the way everything is getting to be these days, and I hate it all. I don't even see the "hi-efficiency" in it anyways; it's all a nuisance.

We'd like to share some information about high efficiency models and how they operate. We will also share some information about pausing the cycle and resuming after adding in extra items. High efficiency washers use less water than traditional washers, while providing the same level of cleaning.

For pausing the cycle, you can always press the "Start/Pause" button mid cycle. This will unlock the lid and allow you to make any adjustments needed. You can find more information on page 8 in the user manual here: https://products-salsify.geappliances.com/image/upload/s--esnlivKk--/o60hz6zrissnlkutq8qc.pdf

Page 15 in the same manual, also shares information about the water level and load size, so that you can see how to optimally load your washer.
