14K compressor fan

I just received my 14000 BTU portable A/C. The unit operates and does blow cold air, but the noise is terrible. Sounds like the compressor or fan is coming apart anytime now. I already lugged the thing up two flights of stairs and installed it and now we cant even talk over it because of the noise. I’m not sure what to do.

I believe the specs on this thing are like 400 and some square feet and I'm in a 12x24 room and it is not holding up can't even get it blow or 78° .
