Coolant Leaked in One AC

I bought two of these 1.5 years ago. Toward the end of this summer, one of them started freezing over and puts off a ton of water.

stopage of unit

This is the third time that that the unit has stopped. All 3x the unit never came on until I turned it on . it never showed the little red icon that needed to be empty. What do I need to do to get it to work. I have already touch base with one of folks back on Sept.29. She sent me some things to try

Was working well - but 3 months in, it smells like burning plastic

I have had the AC unit for 3 months, and it was working super well! Suddenly, when I turn it on, it smells like a combination of campfire/burning plastic. I have it unplugged & too scared to turn it back on.
