Excited to use this seemingly high quality product! Installed in a historical guard house that I use as a workshop for restoration work.

Installation was easy and AC works great so far. The window insert was wider than I expected (probably my fault that I didn’t check that) so make sure you check the dimensions of the window.

Remote goes to sleep, I can't wake it up without it powering off the unit.

Instillation & operation of timing function more difficult than set forth in web presentation.

I had to make modifications to my window by raising the bottom of the window seat by approximately 1 3/8" so that the window sliders would fit without blocking part of the vent tube opening. Also, the timer took some time to understand. First their is no clock that is set to the time of day. start times and stop times are merely in the increments of 1 hr each click from the time the input is made. Neither of these were problems in the long run. the window modification is easy for someone with the skills. The time setting took a little time and testing before it was apparent how the timer worked. these issues should be included in the information provided in the web presentation. Also, the installation manual could have been more helpful if these issues were discussed.
