Horrible machine, blight to the Singer name

Save your money and go with a different brand. Singer used to actually be synonymous with quality. This machine is a bite on the singer name and makes me lose faith in anything new they’ve produced in the last 25 years. This is the craziest, worst machine I’ve ever used. It jams all the time. The bobbin threading system is terrible. I have never been so frustrated using such a simple machine in my entire life. If Singer had any foresight, they’d stopped making this and recall every single one immediately and give everyone a full refund because this machine is an embarrassment.

You get what you pay for?

I bought this machine as a first machine for my 9-year old granddaughter. I like the simplicity and the marked guides for threading and bobbin. She can easily control her sewing. But the thread constantly jams in the bobbin case and the needle unthreads despite holding the thread in place when starting to sew. This happens for the adults too, so it's not a child issue. We have followed the manual for threading the machine and we've oiled the race. Nothing seems to help. I'm not convinced this was a good purchase.

This is a sorry excuse for a sewing machine. It literally will not sew through elastic. Won’t buy another Singer

Worst machine DO Not BUY

Worst machine i bought it for my 10 year old daughter, iim a pro at sewing this machine constantly breaks the needle and thread gets tangled. Needs to be recalled RIP OFF i don’t even think the CEO even pays attention or care about the review because why is it still for sale ? Ridiculous
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
