This extension is not specified for my HD model, but I was able to break off the tabs and with the feet at a proper height it fits just fine. It was the best option. Although it isn't locked in place it doesn't move when I am sewing. I am happy with the overall fit and the luxury of an extension.

I honestly can’t believe that I functioned without this extension table! It’s so awesome not having to guide my items as dedicated as I used to because the bulk of the project would hang over the edge of the sewing machine where of course gravity takes over. I used it on my 4452 (from Vietnam as recommended by Singer) for free-motion quilting. I started the project with the extension table and finished the quilting after receiving it. There definitely was a notable difference that the extension table presented. Of course, you can function without it, but if you can splurge, I do think this is worth investing in. Sewing is complex enough; too don’t need your tools to work against you :)
