This seems to be a good fit for our needs, sewing mainly as hobbyists and to do some pants hemming and such. It is very smooth and a lot simpler to do a lot more than I remember from our previous machine. Stitch changes are quick and simple, At this point we are very pleased. Honestly this machine is much more capable than we are at this point. I believe that it would be a great machine for someone that knows what they are doing!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Can't find bobbin case

I’m just starting out with sewing again. So far it has been fine except the automatic threader. I can’t seem to get it to work. I’ve been watching YouTube’s videos and still having a difficult time.

It's working pretty good do not like the needle threader it doesn't seem to work it doesn't go into the needle it seems to be missing it so I have to still thread it by myself which is a problem with my eyesight but that's the only thing it's the problem first new sewing machine I've had in over 20 years

Too Much Work

I have had my machine approx 14 days so unable to return. When changing from a decorative stitch to a straight stitch the machine doesn’t adjust and need hits metal in bobbin area bending or breaking the needles. It’s a pain to unscrew the foot plate adjust everything then try again only to go through 2 pack of needles to get straight stitch back working properly. Store only allows returns for 10 days. Now I’m stuck with a brand new machine I have to send to the shop. I would not purchase this machine again as I work on it more than I get to sew on it. 30 minute project turned into 4 1/2 and no more needles to test with.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Straight out of the box my sewing machine didn't work. I troubleshooted & even went to multiple reputed websites to help. The Singer website & manual showed absolutely nothing to help. No explanation for all their error codes. I'm going to return my sewing machine & probably buy a different brand.
