Best layout of plug locations backed by a solid warranty

I bought this after reading several reviews online. I use it to protect the components of my home theater system. After investing several thousand dollars into electronics, I didn't want to take any chances. This surge protector actually fails by design of a significant surge event hits the device. This means it protects your equipment down line, and then indicates a need for replacement. The plug locations are positioned to ensure connection of all your devices. The price can't be beat and the warranty gives that extra level of security that should the unthinkable happen, you can replace anything that's lost.

I have a fairly complex home theater setup using 10+ outlets. No problem getting them all in. One suggestion I saw in another review was useful. The plugs come very tight and using the attached plug to loosen each socket before attaching your devices helped a lot.

this thing is hooked up with my alienware laptop, HP laptop, new 3ds and my cellphone. it has 4 outlets designed for adopter chargers which is nice, and it also had $150,000 lifetime warranty if something goes wrong which is confidental. haven't found any con yet. love this product, would buy it again.

Last year I bought a similar Surge Protector from "B" brand name for a cheaper price, but I returned it right away because its telephone jack did not work as expected. Then I found this Tripp-Lite product, installed it, tested it, and it works well since the beginning. It has been a year by now, and I am very satisfied with its performance. Although this Tripp-Lite item costs me a few bucks more than other brands with comparable features, in the long run I figure it will pay for itself due to its quality protections for my electronic devices as well as I'm counting on its lifetime warranty promise from Tripp-Lite. Now that's a peace of mind that deserves my full Five Star rating!
